1. Got rid of mine years ago and have never found a boot carpet to fit my aerotop that doesn’t have the cut out. Got a carpet with a cut out again so want the sub/speaker enclosure back ????
2.
Hes after a new one which isn't crumbling. Usually that means up-rated as there are not many new stock ones around and are eyewateringly expensive.
Exactly. Think I have found one though :)
3. Oem 25 years old? I am after a good one, I have my stock 1994 one already :)
4.
Budget?
Something cheap, sub 5k - - - Updated - - -
I've got an Aristo and it cost about the same to run as a supra.
:)
5.
No it's stock piping. Just powder coated.
The stock piping is rubber
6. Yes I know, I am only looking to replace the standard one. I have the SRD FMIC at the moment but want to go back to stock front end and active spoiler at some point so need a SMIC. As I will be going back to stock everything either SMIC will be fine.
Just an FYI, the whifbitz and CW SMIC are not equivalent, or even roughly equivalent. The whifbitz one is a budget SMIC upgrade, which is fine, but is nowhere near the performance of the CW one, which is capable of supporting small single turbos to circa 600hp.
7. Do you mena the Whifbitz FMIC in the for sale ad titles 'Various bits'? I am after an SMIC not FMIC :)
8. Sorry I am not with you. Top of page for sale group listing? Where do you mean? Top of the for sale page? or a group buy page? I can't find it :)
9. CW or Whifbitz please
10. I need a runabout with more seats for the kids. We have a family Tiguan Allspace but when the wife needs to go somewhere for work and takes that I have the Supra, a T4 van (2 seats up front, none in the back), a little mx5 and an mgb.....and 2 kids. So I need to get something with more seats, easy to put - 1 year old and a 4 year old in. I think I have narrowed it down to either and Audi A3 or an Audi A4 I have found. Which would you choose... A3 is a Quattro - 230bhp, I think it’s SE spec so nothing special inside, no nav, no leather, grey cloth interior. A4 is an S-line - but only 143bhp tdi. Leather heated seats, nav, parking sensors, generally more gadgets. What do you reckon? I am stuck deciding and need someone else’s view
11. As above, wanted please :)
12. I really can’t be bothered to lug it around. I was hoping someone would say ‘easy to fix’. I think probably best to just sell the crank and pistons, block comes free and if whoever buys it can get it fixed then they have a bonus.
13. My accountant rang me yesterday to tell me supra parts are going back into production. He is going to forward me the article. Anyone else seen it?
14. My old block. I have had it in the garage for a couple of years, the people that swapped it out for another block said it was badly scored and can’t be repaired and to be honest I never looked. I had always though at some point I would try and get it repaired, sleeved or something and build I high hp engine. As the years go on inhale decided it’s just in the way so want it gone so has a look and there is no scoring, just a flat spot on the lip of the bore where the bent condos hit it (probably wasn’t bent before it hit!). What do you think people? Scrap? Or can I sell this. Crank is all good and 5 pistons are fine. Second image is obviously what it should look like.
15. I can get you more pictures if you like. All good though.
16. I have had this in my garage for 5 years with the intent on rebuilding my old engine....I need to face the fact I am just never going to have time! 4 of the bolts that hold the cans down seem to have gone walk about but the rest is there. Had a new set of stem seals just before it came out the car. Obviously could do with going through an ultra sonic cleaner. £500 collected
17. Pre face lift, 7 rings in total. I bought this years ago and have never even taken it out the box. Think it cost me £60 +p&p £40 +p&p
18. Is it 200? I had always thought it was around 165.
19. Never be as cheap as running a diesel? I’m afraid that statement just reminds me of my grandad saying computers will never catch on. There is absolutely no angle you can look at it that makes a diesel a cheaper option, no way at all. Even if you say you don’t do many miles. Just take it on a single journey cost, £10 for the fuel for the Tesla and £80 for the fuel for the diesel, lease costs or monthly payment if you bought the car will be about the same, tax and maintenance on the diesel more....
