  1. At last, MOT'ed and back on the road. Running problems seem to have sorted themselves out after driving a few miles so now I just need to build a ramp so I can actually get in my driveway without grounding the front bumper! On the AFR, is there a fitting guide on here? I have never had or fitted an AFR gauge but am thinking I should put one on.
  2. As above. Whoever I sold mine to years ago....do you want to sell it back to me Alex was it?
  3. Clearer pictures? I can’t take any clearer pictures of a lit led I’m afraid
  4. I’m going to leave my hids in. I thought they had always been an mot fail but never had a problem. People who have no cats and need to use a ‘friendly’ mot tester probably don’t need to worry about their headlights either....
  5. Why don’t you trust oem bonnet catches?
  6. I think it was this chap... http://www.vin-plate.co.uk/japanese_4x4.html
  7. I have the details of someone who made one for me at work. I’ll get it tomorrow
  8. My dials are metal monkey, undecided if I will let them go or just get new colour foils for them. I have a set of new blue and red ones the same as the ones in there at the moment as they have curled up a bit on he speed so look white at the high end. That was actually due to me messing up wen I first put the in years ago but never actually changed them with the replacement set I got
  9. Anyone wanting a blue dash led conversion? I did mine a few years ago and am now thinking about going back to stock green so would be willing to work a deal with someone.
  10. I have a Greddy one coming off this weekend as I now have a mines ECU
  11. Im just trying to work out if there are wires there that if the plug is different to mine I can swap them over thats all.
  12. Is that sticking out solid? or is it on a bit of loom?
  13. Ah ok. Are they on the end of a cable or attached? Haven’t taken mine off yet. If they are on a cable I can just swap them if differnent. How much do you want for them?
  14. What are the difference between facelift and nonfacelift?
  15. Any considered. Ideally folding but doesn’t really matter.
  16. Ill double check this. No AFR gauge at the moment but I do have one in a box so may put it on this weekend to see. Would you mind doing me a favour and taking a picture showing the correct way around for the hoses so I can check?
  17. Now I think about it, could havingbthe mines ECU + HKS fuel cut defender wires in at the same time cause over fueling?
  18. Ive just realised I still have my Thor delimiter/speed converter and my his fuel cut defender still wire in as well as the mines ECU. Will this have any negative effect on the car/ECU? I.e. do I need to get it out straight away or can I wait until after I have had the car mot’ed? Then I guess I can take out the his but need to leave in the Thor?
  19. Probably also didn't help that the car has 1/4 tank of 4 year old fuel in it. I have added another 10L of new fuel so hopefully after a drive it should be ok.
  20. Pulled the plugs and they weren't black this time, just very very wet. Left them out for an hour and a half and sat them on the top of a radiator so they really dried out. Back in fired up straight away and running really smooth now so I am going to take it out for a drive and see what happens.
  21. My car is all standard, I don't know what size injectors were on the car the ecu came off, wouldn't they be standard too to work with a mines ECU? Or would the ECU just adjust its levels for bigger injectors and therfore that is why it really needs a drive? Can't get the damn thing started now anyway, just keeps flooding. When it started before it ran fin at tick over for about 20 minutes in the car park, but the next time I tried to start it it wouldn't go so pulled the plugs and they were black again. Got the plugs out now drying off so will try again in a few minutes.
