    Nobody know what it is? Was on the phone to Toyota main dealer for an hour trying to work out what it is today, they have no idea.

    Glass is heavier than plastic yes. The glass is thick. They do look good but I prefer a nice new set of facelift

    No that’s not a thing. You have J-spec pre-facelift or facelift which are both plastic then you have UK spec glass

    UK spec are glass and will fit any ‘era’ mkiv. J-spec are plastic and come in pre facelift or facelift variants, any fit any supra.

    it is working ok, but the rust is well inside it. Not sure how it is still working - - - Updated - - - worst case I can clean up what is in contact with the boot lid, but I would rather just put a better one in.

    Anyone know exactly what its called. I know its something to do with the heated screen but I am trying to find another one that isn't rusty and can't find a part number or its actual name.

    Where did you get them? I have been thinking about getting LED bulbs to replace my hid kits. Are these the ones that just have standard plugs or do they have some kind of external unit too like the hids have a ballast?

    Just get a new one from Toyota, that’s what I did

    I have had my current supra for 9 years and not done 18000 miles in it yet.

    Do you really want an LPG supra though? I know it will mean cheaper running costs but it just doesn’t seem right running a supra on anything other than the petrol it should.

    Sure you can. If you improve the mpg somehow it doesn’t matter if you know by how much, it is improved regardless.

    I just noticed you said has anyone fitted an mpg gauge and wondered about effectiveness? They will be 100% effective in telling you your mpg, but they won’t make a difference in fuel economy.

    Only thing I can think of that would dramatically increase you mpg is something like a Hyundai i10. Mpg is not something you can worry about with a supra I’m afraid. They are not made to be a fuel efficient car.
