Nice update. Well done coming along great. Good luck with the rear window, recon that won't be an easy task. Maybe easier and cheaper to get a plastic one made. Or as a temporary measure could you not tint your current window.

Yea I spose I could. I'll get that done befor I decide on what to do with it.

So over the weekend i had to move workshops dude to the one i was useing being handed back to garrison QM's.

So I put the body kit back on the car just to make it easier to move.

And its making me impatient. Pictures do not give it justice. Looks so much better in the flesh.

Any way here are some pics.

attachment.php?attachmentid=196759&stc=1&d=1422905627attachment.php?attachmentid=196760&stc=1&d=1422905627

Couple of the lads giving me a hand. Bloody idiots haha.

attachment.php?attachmentid=196761&stc=1&d=1422905707

And her she is tucked up in the new place. Much bigger than the last and a HEATED room for the engine when i start work on it. Oh joys :D

attachment.php?attachmentid=196762&stc=1&d=1422905758

So obviously had to move the black one to the new place as well. Halfway there. Bang!!!!!!!

attachment.php?attachmentid=196763&stc=1&d=1422905870attachment.php?attachmentid=196764&stc=1&d=1422905870

Luckily I changed all the hubs from the black one to the new one. Would not have been happy if this happened to the fortune haha. :/

Needless to say the black one will Definitely be Broken now.

Ric came to visit and have a look on Sunday night as well. Top block. Nice to have met him

So this week I will be working on the engine. Watch this space.

Thanks for looking guys.

So today i started with the engine.

I never realized how much gunk was on this engine. Its quite embarrassing. But this is how the engine came from the person who sold it to me I'm afraid.

So a couple picks before I started.

attachment.php?attachmentid=196938&stc=1&d=1423324346attachment.php?attachmentid=196939&stc=1&d=1423324346

attachment.php?attachmentid=196940&stc=1&d=1423324346attachment.php?attachmentid=196941&stc=1&d=1423324346

attachment.php?attachmentid=196942&stc=1&d=1423324346attachment.php?attachmentid=196943&stc=1&d=1423324373

attachment.php?attachmentid=196944&stc=1&d=1423324373

So I started to clean the engine as best I could but I think it needs a industrial style clean as it is really bad.

I then started to fit parts here and there after the attempt at cleaning.

New seals for the cam covers.

attachment.php?attachmentid=196945&stc=1&d=1423324694attachment.php?attachmentid=196946&stc=1&d=1423324694

Then fitted the one side with the new PHR oil cap.

attachment.php?attachmentid=196947&stc=1&d=1423324773

Refurbed PS pump with NA res all painted and polished By RobM :)

attachment.php?attachmentid=196948&stc=1&d=1423324840

Painted rear engine hook by RobM aswell

attachment.php?attachmentid=196949&stc=1&d=1423324924attachment.php?attachmentid=196950&stc=1&d=1423324924

Polished fan belt dampener thingy, RobM again lol.

attachment.php?attachmentid=196951&stc=1&d=1423325031

Fitted other cam cover, Coil packs in. Front hook, temp spark plug cover. Polished lower water neck. (looks horrible with that water pump.) Polished Alternator as well.

Yes you guessed it, all done by RobM Thanks buddy.

attachment.php?attachmentid=196954&stc=1&d=1423325246attachment.php?attachmentid=196953&stc=1&d=1423325246attachment.php?attachmentid=196952&stc=1&d=1423325246attachment.php?attachmentid=196955&stc=1&d=1423325246

I am just putting the engine back together so it can be transported in the car back to the uk. Then it will be taken out again to be finished.

Thanks for reading :)

Getting there mate. Looks nice. I would change the cam cover fittings to black though, blue and red looks wrong against the green

Looks really nice mate.

Thanks bud

Looks good, I would also say change the cam cover fittings to the shiny black, would complement the green much better. Thats just my opinion though :)

Good project this one! Love your seat mate! If you don't mind me asking where did you have them done?

There from the group buy and I fitted them myself dude. Thanks as well

Rob and Chris

Yea your both right and I am doing that they came with the covers. There only on there temp. I don't want any blue or red in my bay. Great minds think alike haha

Unwrapped the turbo from RobM. Shiney Shiney.

attachment.php?attachmentid=197009&stc=1&d=1423510883

I fitted it back to the rest of the turbo & Manifold. Then test fitted it back to the engine just so I could have a look. Really happy with it.

attachment.php?attachmentid=197010&stc=1&d=1423511011attachment.php?attachmentid=197011&stc=1&d=1423511011attachment.php?attachmentid=197012&stc=1&d=1423511011

I then fitted the Tial waste gate and screamer pipe. Love the sound if this thing. I have no idea what mm the waste gate it though.7

attachment.php?attachmentid=197013&stc=1&d=1423511120

So now I wait till I get a package from Rob with a couple more bits then the engine will be going in hopefully. :)

I also put the the rear lights back on and tinkered with the rear bumper to make it fit better.

I know, I know ruins the lines of the supra and people don't like it. but I do :)

attachment.php?attachmentid=197014&stc=1&d=1423511282

Also played with the roof to get it fitting better. Now it sits flush on the front and rear, just not the sides :(

attachment.php?attachmentid=197015&stc=1&d=1423511282

Please excuse the pics, lights was terrible.

Thanks for reading.

Yea that looks a bit plain and boring. Seen pics of it befor and the rear lights are horrendous.

I have done a little bits hear and there but there will be updates tomorrow :)

That one for sale looks really badly done. Yours on the other hand

The light cover on the other one iirc are actually the veilside covers that come with the original kit. Horrendous admittedly, but there you go.

I always (and still do) want either a TS Evolution Supra, or a Veilside Fortune one. I am rather jealous of yours.
