How does someone steal a, presumably, alarmed and immobilised car from outside a house in the dead of night? Are immobilisers that easily bypassed? Very worrying.

Thievin bastiches can get round anything with the right incentive, but i thought they would only really go for cars worth 30k odd, to make it worth there while, hope they're collared & the Sup's returned in good fettle m8

really sorry to hear a Supra being stolen. Would you like me to post a link to this thread on other car forums ?

Hopefully somebody will see it.... be a good idea to also name any identifiable parts that may be taken off the car to be re-sold.

car thieves.... the lowest scum of the earth !

Asses! I absolutely hate this stuff. Sorry to hear it Amigo.

I'll keep the proverbials open and listening for you mate (for what little it is worth, sadly (or gladly) I don't know the *right* (or wrong) crowd for this sort of news to get to me).

As to subverting alarms/immobillizers - If someone wants your ride bad enough, I am sure there is a truck with a Hiab they can source easily :(:(

Will consider a tracker when all my work is finished.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys and I'm sorry I've not had / got enough time to answer them all individually. A few people have asked about the security on the car but whilst there is a (granted slim) chance that it may have been lifted / towed away I don't really want to go public on what security was / is fitted to it. Once again thanks for all your well wishes and I'll post any news as soon as and when I get it.
