Hoping to arrive at Ashford Central around 5pm and can then head along to Ashford. Who's in Central and fancy gathering for the trip across?

I know Pete and his wife Vicki are, along with James and Tracey, but they aren't getting there until late on the night.

I'd be up for a gathering and a trip across Style. Guessing its the premier inn youre at? I'll be heading down about 6 tomorrow but I'm in Newcastle U l so I'll be a good 3+ hours

I'll be leaving Dundee about 7am tomorrow mate and making a stop at Part-Box on the way down the west side of the UK so I should be arriving at around 5:30. I'm in the Premier Inn, yes :)

Would people want to gather at the premier inn Ashford Central at a certain time and then we can head along for a few beers? Remember the KY to keep Burna happy :)

Just sorted my travel insurance, and for once I thought I'd at least scan the fine print briefly in case I'm being mugged off. I noted that most if not all of the policies now expect you to carry an EHIC card with you(used to be E111?) in order to access/get reduced rate European healthcare and in order to validate your insurance should you pay out and have to claim back:

The point being one doesn't look after the other, you need the EHIC and Travel insurance.... Thought I'd mention it, especially with the current migrations across Europe I wonder how much more strict hospitals will be about this.

Just want to wish all of you going this year a fantastic trip - wish I was going but alas it is not to be.

Look forward to DBXV2 later in the year and most definitely DB17 (and a new book!)

Drive safe and have fun

We'll raise a few drinks in your honour.

(any old excuse)

Strange, I thought being in the EU meant you didn't have to have travel insurance or the EHIC card.
