Can you not plug a computer into it, and get someone at Syvecs to diagnose the issue remotely?

You can, however they need to actually have the car with them so that they can rule out mechanical things themselves I guess, rather than going by what another mechanic has said

Did you buy this car from Brasil and have it painted white ?

I cant believe the poor luck you are having with this car its unreal, im sure its going to be something silly , so you have spark , have fuel, and you say timming is correct then it should start ?

but as above you have to pull the logs and see what it shows /tells you , could be just a plug / connector loose somewhere

:bang: it seems that way to be honest...

It's a genuine Japanese import and has been serviced very well and has never broken on me at all since I had this conversion done. Yup, sparks, fuel, pressure, timing, everything is bang on, turns over, just doesn't fire up!

Hehe Brasil is a member that has gone through 3 engines in 2 years and driven his car about 100 miles I think I see somewhere that he has thrown in the towl this time though .

sounds like a syvecs stopping it then for some reason , get the software and pull the logs could save you a hell of alot of money

I already have, it's gonna be taken there for Monday. Hoping it's some daft ECU related issue

But that costs money to get it there right?

You could just check your self and have it done in 1 hour by just checking the logs this is just the sort of thing they are for mate

Yeah I suppose so, but it's Sunday tomorrow so he'll be shut, plus Monday it's being taken to Whifbitz so they can sort it out once and for all so that this whole matter can be resolved. Then I'm taking it straight to Lee at SRD to have all of the work thoroughly double-checked by a 'third party' who hasn't been involved in any of the previous work; that way I can get an honest opinion on the integrity as some say it is questionable.

Hate to say it mate but it looks that way. If the car was fine, goes to a garage and comes back with issues, it's down to the garage. Some will say you can't guarantee to quality of some parts etc but there is a reason we all tend to use experienced tuners to work on our cars, and that's to spot these issues and advise on them! I've spoken to a couple in the past about fitting certain mods and they've just refused to do it because they know they'll be issues. Now I tend to check before buying stuff to see how it works with the rest of my setup.

Fingers crossed for you mate, and hopefully it's just something silly that's causing it not to start! I'd also be having a quiet word about all the hassle you've had since the conversion and see if anything can be done in terms of a goodwill gesture! 😉

I picked my car up today from Whifbitz, turns out it wasn't starting due to dirty plugs! Paul didn't charge me a penny for fixing it so I'm well chuffed with that :)

Figured I'd do a few pulls as I haven't driven her for a while, and thought why not share them with the rest of you (because I know everyone loves videos)
