cheers lads. The wheel is going to do my head in so its either a refurb but unsure as to whether someone can match the colour or a wheel that is £200 new + delivery.

I was close to buying some work wheels, and I am glad I didnt otherwise I would be crying!

Looking lovely mate

thanks mate, saw yours are japfest but didnt see you :(

I made it to japfest, we had a very early start at 4am and managed to get to Silverstone at 7am! luckily it gave us enough time to clean the cars as the roads were wet. Did the best I could do with what I had with me. Thanks to Ric for letting me borrow some of his cleaning stuff :)

Some what happy with my car now, its not perfect but Ill be holding off the modifications now till next year (if I can help myself) and just driving and enjoying the car.

It was nice meeting everyone at the show again.

Managed to get the car out yesterday and finally take the roof off for the first time this year! yes it was cold but the sun was out. Roll on summer!

The meet was very busy, met some local supra owners and even some new owners.

Here are a few pictures of mine from the meet...

On the way back had a right blast, I was testing my BC which I was too afraid of using on the way to japfest LOL

Hit 1.3 bar, the car pulls like a train! a massive difference from 1.1 BAR

Managed to leave a CLA45AMG for dead, his face was priceless :D

Nice pics. car is looking great. Looks better every time you post, great roof off weather at the moment. Can you tell me, does the engine brace make a difference (improve) to the body flex when the roof is off?

Cheers mate.

The brace, nope not really, not anything noticeable but its hard for me to say as Ive always had one.

I think it needs a cage, this is on my list of things but wont be for a while im afraid.

MAY UPDATE

Finally I have managed to figure out what the issue was with my rev counter not working, its been an issue for over a year and because its not an MOT fail I sort of just left it as it was.

Thanks to Allan Massey for loaning me his after market REV gauge so I could diagnose my issue.

Traced it back to a missing screw that I must of removed when messing around with my LED conversion, with that speedo being an issue and months on end being in the bodyshop I must of forgot what I did, anyway glad i figured it out!

Managed to find the time to tidy up some wiring, I used my labeller from work to label stuff so I knew what was what LOL I also had wired my Defi gauge controller the wrong way around so it was not remembering the peak alerts I had set which was annoying. All wired correctly and recrimped them with male and female connectors.

Lastly I wired in the remaining speed defender that was part of my Thor unit which Iky wired in a few months back. Now going to go for a test drive on Friday.

Pic taken at a local japanese meet earlier this month, the chap was asking me that "awkward" question..."So how much have you spent on your car?" LOL

attachment.php?attachmentid=212159&stc=1&d=1464206332

Things left to do is install the Carbon engine bay covers and enjoy the car :)

  • 5 months later...

Evening,

its been almost 6 months since I updated this thread.

I've been busy with my wedding which was in August and haven't found much time for the car. I have been driving it to the occasional local meet and managed to go to a few shows this year.

Recently I've pulled the car out to try and get some pictures for the calendar categories so I thought it would be a good excuse to post those photos up.

Im saving for a house at the moment so modifications will be slow :( I have a list an arm long lol but I intend to do some essential maintenance before nice to have mods. High on the list is undersealing, tracking and sorting out the noises, which is either bushes or droplinks. The nice to haves will come closer to summer next year. I plan to hopefully do dragon ball next year so my intention is to get the car comfortable for the large journey across europe :)

Anyway here are some pictures I have recently taken...

Cheers mate, when are you coming back? :)

I haven't updated this thread in a while.

In that time, I got married, bought a house and having a baby :)

I've got a few updates to add which ill try doing once I get my car back on the road.
