I like the look of the new billet GT42r-7275, air cooled dbb like my 76 but has the bonus of being divided housing, (no option on the 76) might be the perfect street turbo for those wanting 800bhp and fast spool, Reid from SP is fitting one on his supra so results soon.

very nice, although 800bhp might be a tad much for me, suppose there is the option to tone it down on the mapping side with the same spool. :D

is there a date for these being released then?

I dont know when the new turbine wheels are out, you can order a 7275 now though.

Luc you made a good comment there bud, very true and good advice mate,

Jamie a 64mm would be a good size right between the 67mm and 62mm. Surprised they haven't done this already really.

Superhuman I have looked into the comp turbo line and some of there stuff looks great, I just haven't seen enough reviews on them so don't know an awful lot about reliability etc.

I think they will still have to be proven, the bw reliability has a great reputation, but wouldnt you agree this is a fair old step up from your average unit??

Yes your right, they do need to be proven, I'm hearing some great things from Full Race about them who have been involved in the development from the start. The EFR's are purpose built turbos designed from the ground up to be used for race cars and the aftermarket scene, unlike a lot of the other turbos out there which aren't. I'm expecting great things myself.

It'll be interesting to see what turbo developments come out of F1 when they switch to the new turboed engines. I'd imagine the teams will already be talking to various turbo manufacturers.

agreed.

im now down to

bw 88-75 t/s .91.ar $1299 http://www.full-race.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=214_1167&products_id=1907

pt 6265 t/s .84 ar $1059 http://www.spracingonline.com/store/Precision_62mm_Billet_Turbo_6265/3676

both plus $185 shipping and taxes.

The borg warner comes standard with a marmin flange and is an extra $150 to have the v band welded on. Also it comes with and elbow on the comp housing and is extra to have a straight down comp. outlet!!! grrrrrr.

The precision is $899, but adds $160 for the twin scroll exhaust housing, the bb option is also £540 if wanted:eyebrows:

prices are just make a better comparison.

Basically Bullseye make there own hybrid versions using Borg Warner components. They also sell Borg Warner box units and just use there own name for them. S366 is the same as a 91/79, S363 is the same as a 88-75, etc. Bullseye also do there own mix of wheels and housings, plus they make there own billet compressor wheels and stainless steel exhaust housings to.
