Little update on the car...

Now fitted a new splitter to the front to allow us to fully skid the front of the car.

Also fitted a custom (much better looking) expansion tank. Some great alu skills from Autotec again!!

Cars looking great now, although we feel it could do with some oem skirts maybe now :innocent:

1200kg would be nice but the important thing is i want to keep the weight distribution around the usual supra at 53/47%

This means putting the seats further back espically the passenger one as well the battery etc

Damn, thats like formula 3 stuff aint it .:search:

How do you find placing it in corners with the driving position so far back and low? I have to decide this week whether to mount the seats in my Skyline 18 inches back and move the pedal box and column, plus gear change to suit. I fear it may make it hard to place relative to kerbs? Thanks. A stunning job there, Ryan.

Looking good Ryan!

What are your track day plans this summer? I've booked all the Abingdon days May to October, but think i'll be in the VX for the 1st May date as I can't see me getting the MX5 built up in time.

Will collect the engine from Chris this coming week but still got to collect the new car its going in and then run in the engine, the new car solves this problem as it comes with an MOT and is ancient so no need for a CAT. Once its ready I'll be giving you a call to map it :) , I would have said end of April, but mid May more likely I think :D

Just got to do the coil pack mounts Steve (they are subtly different hole spacing, damn and blast), will fill the "wrong" holes and I have worked out a more elegant way of doing this with only two none original holes :) Otherwise ready to go. Got my Skyline engine running today. All good bat a water weep that I fixed. Ready for dyno testing and proper mapping once I put a few miles on it :)
