  1. I don't think the "tweeter" is actually a speaker mate. I *think* the half sphere is a sunshine sensor (others will correct me if I'm wrong), and the tweeter lookalike is a air vent.

    parts

Hi mate, and welcome Depends what sort of parts really. Performance/ upgrade parts, or the usual stuff like filters? There's lots of traders on here who can supply performance parts, wheels, etc
  3. I actually like the wheels. No, really! They're what I've got on mine. I'll get my coat...

    I am in tears

Sorry to hear this. Not working in recruitment, I can't really add any more than what others have said above, other than hang in there. Life's weird how it turns up new opportunities when you least expect it. Sometimes they happen when you think you're at rock bottom.
  8. Would the stock air filter fit an NA?
  9. Yeah, can't wait to see it too, and witness the power! Might even come snooping around if its at home...
  10. 1) NA 2) Normal driving: 3000 3) Hooning: 6000
  11. Trev, Bearing in mind that the service manual extract is a much more definitive guide than what I'm about to say..... If you've recently bought the car, I would change all fluids, then you know where you stand. You don't know for sure when they were all last done. Fluids are engine oil, gearbox oil, diff oil. Have a look at the coolant. If you're in doubt, change it. Also, get the subframe bolts tightened up. This is a known problem, but is simple to check and rectify if you're handy with a spanner. .. oh, and the usual service stuff.
  12. Velocity, I like your avatar! Where did it come from?
  13. Where's that birthday cake graphic gone?
  14. Hi Mawby, Do you know if it would fit an NA? How much are you looking to get for it? Does the 'zorst and cat come as a single unit? (Spot the bloke who doesn't know a great deal about exhausts! )
  15. Is this with the car stationary, or moving?
  16. Good question Nic. Anyone?
  17. Hi Sed, welcome to the board! If it was me, I'd get home one evening, give the wheel area a bit of a clean, then park the car on some newspaper. That may give you more of a clue as to what's going on. Obviously this is much easier if you've got a garage you park it in. Someone more technical than me may be along soon....
  18. Figure out why a few electrical items (e.g. indicators, wipers) are feeding back through the stereo speakers. Fix error code 42 Buy and fit new head unit, possibly new speakers Remove autochanger Refurb front seats (thanks Ben ) Fit an electric aerial motor
  19. First I knew of the error code was the orange engine light and the red warning light both appearing whilst driving. Mine's a manual so I don't have O/D. Visually check the wiring at the ECU and odo first before doing any soldering.
  20. It could be that the cartek unit doesn't handle the PPS system very well. If you need a replacement unit, check out Pete Betts at Thor, his units come VERY highly recommended.
