  1. Time to go classic? My insurers were cheeky and tried to give me the same price policy as last year even though I'd rolled over to being an old fart (30). Had a shop around then went back to them and got them down to £215 all mods declared, 5k miles, euro cover, courtesy car, club day cover and agreed value.
  2. 6pm the ISPW is ready Or you could just go out and grab the iOS5 GM ipsw file and register your UDID and put it on already.
  3. I think you may find that not many people bought this in the group buy (which did bring shipping costs down a lot) so you may be waiting quite a while. If you're bumping every 3 days and that desparate you may want to bite the bullet and buy new.
  4. Nor is 56. There's a good read here about bio http://www.theregister.co.uk/2011/10/06/steve_jobs_bio_1/ Makes me want to dig my performa out of the loft.
  5. A friend's got a flatbed and willing to travel... Your breakdown cover does not cover returning the vehicle home then?
  6. Graphical packages rarely use GPU unless you're doing rendering, so I'd check if the packages you're using can use the GPU, also I would check if they're multi-threading otherwise buying a 4-core/8-thread CPU will be a waste of time and you're better off trying to find the chip with the highest clock speed and possibly not a dedicated GPU. No point having 8 threads running @ 2.2Ghz if it's only using one if you can buy a chipset that has half the threads/cores but runs at 2.5+Ghz. IMHO you are probably better off getting the best resolution screen you can, don't worry about that size HDD as I doubt you'll utilise that if you manage your data effectively and you're better off making sure you have adequate ram and possibly a SSD in there for performance. Then if you really need more data just buy a 30 quid 320/500gb HDD with a USB cable you can bung in your bag. An SSD will give you far better raw performance in all applications than a 5400/7200 drive and also possibly extend battery life. Summary - RAM check, better screen, possibly get a 120Gb SSD or such if you can live with that capacity on a laptop. 2x HDD and a 1600x900 screen would make me frustrated, esp at a 17" screen. I've had no problems with ebuyer myself, also their returns policy and customer services have been great when I've had a dead HDD. Post sales service is always something you want. BTW saw your sig - I'll have some 550cc injectors for sale shortly if you want them
  7. Gonna have an EMB available soon - I know that's not an EMU but just thought I'd mention. Maybe a few others will too, as we've just done a group buy on the S6, maybe worth checking if anyone on the S6 group buy will have an EMU spare.
  8. What are you going to use it for and how long are you going to aim to keep it for? Seems excessive unless you're a very heavy traveller and doing graphic design work. Also for that price I'd expect a 1920x1200 resolution screen. HDDs are slow for 5400rpm too.
  9. Looks like what'd happen if an American styling shop got hold of it
  10. Hi Rob can I have the -6 fuel angled swivel push on fitting? PM me paypal details or such
  11. I'd happily technically proof read this for you, being a very technical/analytical/pedant type of person who is also wanting to learn a lot more on this. Proof-read a few technical books for people previously.

That's all well and good for your diagnosis Jazz, you can't blankly say you have symptom x you should take product Y. Sometimes a cough is a cough. Sometimes it's the start of laryngitis, sometimes heck it could be lung cancer. A single symptom does not have a single diagnosis nor cure.

http://www.autosessive.com/9/section.aspx/10349/tiger_seal_adhesive_and_sealant_white_310m Personally, having been a person which has experienced unexpected large amounts of bleeding out of both ends (vomiting blood? just say blueeeregh! kids) I would advise against any non-medically prescribed attempt at curing such issues. Any problems with your plumbing that lasts for more than 24-48 hours or has a weird look to it, really... go to the doctors/hospital. No amount of drinking anything you can buy from Tescos/The interweb will help you. As said, I had two days of strange occurrences, ending up going to hospital in an ambulance having lost nearly 40% of my entire blood contents (the sudden vomiting of fresh blood was the last hint), being hooked up to IVs, potential transfusions and then the fun of endoscopy. Advising someone to just 'drink this drink' is at the least, derisory.
