Seen it around mondello today and was wondering it it was owned by anyone here. Any car meets on tonight as I seen a few skylines 10 minutes before and you know how rare it is to see many interesting cars over here!

How's things, as the car is in for a respray I'm looking at ways I can have a nice clean look without the numberplate ruining it. Not looking to avoid speed cameras ect. Just looking for a way of having the numberplate visible normally and then at shows it's hidden. Not taken off leaving a black plate holder or worse some screw holes!! Any help as I can't quite find what I'm looking for on google.... Thanks Kyle

Ok now it makes more sense to me and according to mkiv.com my car is painted in "super red clearcoat". Guessing this just means it has been painted red and then had a clearcoat applied to try and protect against oxidising over time? As you can probably tell I'm not a painter.

Hi there, In the middle of having my car finally painted after an long and painful year long wait and I've been trying to find the original colour of the car. It's a 95 plate import and has been sprayed SEVERAL times to say the least. Were there many red options back then? 3L2 is as far as I have got really. I've also googled it but several different shades seem to pop up so if you can help out in any way with photos of your car ect please do. - - - Updated - - - I understand it says "super red" in the signature bar but I'm not totally sure it is anymore lol

It was an optional extra mate as my tt auto has an open dif. Check the vin plate on your car and that will tell you what you have.

Ah it's pretty standard for them. Take on far more work than they can really handle but I have no doubts that once they get around to it the car will be like new to look at that's all I want really

I got a call last night saying that the car isn't going to be out of paint this month and it will more ham likely be the end of next month it's finished so I have a clubstand ticket if anyone wants it. Gutted doesn't even cover it.

Well my insurance with flux was 1k for 4000 miles so I would say 150 is pretty good!!

Nothing yet but all going well I should be having a few different guys to have a look at the car next Sunday. what options do I really have for getting work done to the car? Bodywork is something I have never really dealt with. Thanks for all the replies! Been very helpful. Mplavery said know exactly what you want done and I guess I'm just looking for the whole car to be the same standard colour of red. Good quality job. Don't think I need the inside done just the outside. As I say it's something I have never felt with if I look a bit thick on the subject. Once again thanks for the replies!
