So for japfest I have set the start of may as my deadline for the car to be done and I'm putting the car into a local bodyshop to get a full respray. How much have people paid in the past year for a full respray out of interest? I'm keeping it the same standard red it is now but the bodyshop quoted me 5k that I thought was a bit steep giving I'm just getting the outside done. Car is a rust free example too so what do you think? Reasonable or taking the piss?

Hi folks, I'm after buying new front wings for my project and I had to go for facelift wings as Toyota no longer have a pair of earlier wings. Since these wings don't have the indicators on them (due to having them normally on the facelift bumpers) would it pass an mot? Thanks in advance

Just noticed there you won't have side indicators....that ok? I understand you will have them at the front and the back of the car but is it an mot requirement or anything for them to be on the side too? Wish I could do a full rebuild like that! One day....

Eh it went well.....well apart from the fact the bumper was mastic'd on and only had the six screws under the lights holding it on....and it never quite made it off in one piece much like the rest of the bodykit I've removed....so yea a lot of progress was made...thanks again folks

I would like to say now that I'm sorry if this has already been done (thread wise) but I can't find anything on it and the threads with the title of bumper removal have all there photos stolen by photobox so please help. I have a trial rear bumper Mildred into the rear end and I'm currently in the middle of going standard. Where are all the bolts I have to remove and if anyone has any words of wisdom as to how I remove a molded bodykit please fire away! I've been using a wire brush wheel on a drill for the fibre glass bits and it seems to be working ok Sorry again

Thing that scares me about the wide rears is 1. cutting the arches 2. More places for rust to occur due to where it's riveted on and 3. The bodykit eventually looking dated much like the one I have on currently. Once again thanks for the replies! I have all the standard parts to put it back to stock but I keep on coming back to the ridox look

Hi folks, Just trying to find out how much wider the rear arches are compared to the front arches.....reason for this is that I'm thinking about getting the ridox front fenders but I don't know if this will make the car look a little out of proportion since I'm thinking about leaving the rear end the stock width. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance
