  1. Best thing to do is; Wet vac every inch of carpet you can get to Spray an enzyme odour eater (e.g. valet pro) onto bits you can't but it will be worth doing the seats and headlining too Use an A/C refresher bomb thing to clear the system Drive around for a while with the a/c on to circulate the air Best advised to do this in the sunshine so you can leave the car doors and windows wide open to air out fully. It'll probably smell like whatever for a few weeks after but eventually it'll go. Bought my Supra off a dog owner and the dog seemed to go on trips in the back. Didn't smell like dog just old musky car smell. So gave it a good hoover, cleaned the fabrics with APC and let it dry out and it just smelled pretty clear (trace of oldcarmusk).
  2. So whtat's a car that you've had that you're most fond of? Supras excluded of course For me it was a 2001 Ford Puma, bought it for £500 as a cheap runabout while saving for my Alfa a few year ago and it was fantastic. Air conditiong, heated front and rear screens, electric everything and the 1.7 Zetec engine which is fantastic all for £500. Lots of fun for a FWD car. Close call between it adn the MX5 mk1 1.8 that I had for 4-5 years but the Puma was just much more usable and because it was cheap I didn't worry about parking it etc I'm actually flogging my Fiesta to buy a Puma thunder and perhaps turn it into a RWD S1600 kitted toy

    2006 Impreza WRX

Neighbour has a glorious black blobeye, he does seem to spend a lot of time under the bonnet. had a nightmare with the cooling system recently and think he's had a few minor running issues. will ask him when i see him next. Noise is superb, standard exhaust but manages to rattle my windows on cold mornings. It's his daily too btw
  4. So long as it fits & is mounted correctly you're fine, just be careful with airbags etc
  5. http://www.game.co.uk/en/playstation-4-1tb-with-star-wars-battlefront-the-last-of-us-remastered-2-month-now-tv-movies-pass-904864?categoryIdentifier=737200&catGroupId= Get this ^^ Last of us is fantastic, half video game, half cinema. Only downside to my PS4 (had since launch) so far is you have to pay £40 a year to play online - but you do get a buttload of free games, not even old titles, ones that still sell new for about £25-£30 (e.g. Last year they were giving away Assassins Creed Black Flag and Uncharted, another fantastic game) And sometimes after an update the CD tray glitches up so it opens up randomly during a game and then doesn't recognise the disk. but there's a few remedies for this, for me just rebooting the system works fine and has only happened with Battlefield 4 for some reason,. Other than that, worth every penny. I have a gaming PC too but the ease of use with PS4 is well worth having even as just a blue ray player
  6. friend had one and loved it, has a 6 MPS saloon now. He's got one of those "Shiebe" dogs and he seems happy enoguh in it. I'd go for the facelift Focus ST3 though... In orange. ASBO is an option sadly.
  7. Best i could find was US based for bulk ones
  8. https://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/2011-ford-fiesta-zetec-s-petrol-16-low-tax-insurance-mot-and-40mpg-immaculate-as-new/1146999654
  9. You broke my brain then "where the hell is that switchboard on my car?!" Looks very well done, fair play
  10. If she can't afford to drive how can she afford 4 kids? Someones poor life decisions shouldn't be anyone elses burden IMO. Fair play on Mr Ford not losing his cool and remaining professional
  11. Former marketing here... Never use clipart Will like when i have access to facebook
  12. He'll get the book thrown at him, drink driving this time of year. Her majesty will have great pleasure in dealing a heavy sentence
  13. I get maybe 1.5-2k a year out of a second car, just because I don't drive it every day doesn't mean I don't enjoy it. Kate Beckinsale is in my bed right now, took her for a go yesterday and might have another go on Tuesday if it's dry...
  14. 350/370z would be the better buy IMO. But if you need back seats... Supra?
  15. Go to your doctor, don't take anything online as factual. Every case is different.
  16. offtopic: your car is beautiful, please don't take it apart Ontopic: how much for the active spoiler bub?
  17. Mercedes SLK seats look like a possibility too. new shape and old, similar seat base to OE Supra
  18. I have looked at this too, I like the newer style 911 seats with the gloss plastic backs to them (Rear seat delete so rear passenger safety isn't a thing to worry about) but the majority on ebay are expensive... But there's the odd cheap set. If you do go ahead be patient and wait for a cheap set to pop up. You'll probably find breakers selling a pair for £500+. But when an independent/private breaker or someone selling spares you may find them to be around the £300 mark. And then you have accident damaged ones where the airbag has deployed even cheaper Wish I could get Alfa Romeo GT seats into mine, but they'd a bit too big and would look weird
  19. £2.5k is a good price considering the work that needs to be put into it. Anyone who expects a mint Supra for less than £4k are probably using a crayon to type into their iPad from the local insane asylum. I'd suggest spending a few minutes cleaning up hat you can so it's in the most presentable condition possible
  20. Cheap for a reason, spend another £50 adn get one with a better processor and more memory. 2GB is barely enough to run an OS adequately.
  21. Avoid, engine problems like with the first iteration of the new shape celica Celica
  22. You swapped a 2007 Ford Fiesta worth maybe £2k for an ancient MX5 worth £500? That was the first problem i had with your post...
  23. Yeah it looks really good, I'd probably fit it to mine if it wasn't tiptronic. Quite annoyed cuz it was better condition than my old steering wheel -_- I can post it with the airbag but I'm afraid I'd have to leave it to you to find a courier as it's a restricted item. If anything happens during transit I'd be liable
