  1. FT-1 was never a Supra, it's a standalone supercar designed for GT vision. They'll probably take design cues from it though (Like the backend of that Lexus certainly take something from the FT-1)
  2. BRZ front bumper would be better me thinks
  3. No pics I'm afraid, got a bit too into it when doing the actual wiring. But it is very straight forward - For the paddles it was a case of matching up the wiring as best as possible with the loom plug butchered off a Supra wheel and trial/error. (black wire to black, blue to blue, brown to brown. Then poking the wires into the plug in the correct order) As for the airbag I just had to splice the two Supra wires and two airbag wires together, red to red, and blue/yellow to black/yellow. Hasn't blown up in my face when I press the horn but suppose the real test is if I crash into something... I'll send you some pics & images when I'm home with a better write up too Dammit! I love me some epic downshifts Haven't had much time to fiddle if I'm honest, but I have worked out how I'll go about getting the buttons working. My current theory on it is to buy a Connects2 radio harness loom thing, get a map of the wiring and then splice some long wires onto the harness and splice the wires directly into the steering wheel's button wiring. I'll then heat-shrink the length of wiring, curling the wrapped wire around a metal pole to create the coiled type wire that extends as it's pulled. I'll then feed the wire through the steering column drill a small hole through the bottom and feed it into the steering wheel. about 1inch of wire will show but only if you look under the steering column - unable to put it through the steering wheel through the clock spring due to lack of space. We shall have to see...
  4. http://jalopnik.com/the-100-000-lexus-lc-500-is-the-most-badass-lexus-sinc-1752278150 New Lexus looks like it can the base of a new Supra IMO, the rear end is very similar to the Gran Turismo Toyota FT500 (?) thing that people thought would be a new Supra
  5. Thanks! Bit bare in terms of updates but hopefully I can get that changed soon. Started applying for new jobs in my company so maybe some more money for the Supra fund. Edited my plans in the original post too, copying to here for too for personal reference and I like ticking things off lists... #### New Plans Interior: - Cobra Daytona front seats in black leather, red stitching and 3d mesh inserts - Rear seat delete - Leather console with two extra speakers, carpeted either side but flush to the rear door cards. Think of a more Supra-lined/shaped GTR rear seat deal - Additional to the rear conversion; a single DIN cup holder insert and 12v/USB output or chargers, another hidden 12v for mydashcam - Topgaiters Doorcards/handles (Black w/ red stitches) - Topgaiters armrest cover (black w/ red stitches) - Repair hole in gear surround after deleting alarm keyfob thing Exterior: - Treat and seal the underside, looking into alternatives to show off the clean floorpan though. Bilt Hamber are bound to have something - Active front spoiler - Top Secret rear diffuser - AXE CS Lite alloy wheels or maybe a set of forged ones from Whifbitz - Fiddle with the front indicators so they match the headlights - LED or HID bulb conversion for headlights Performance: - Whifbitz throttle conversion for cruise control and throttle blipping (I love it, don't ask) & improving the throttle - SMIC - New turbo piping, not a fan of the alloy - Red-Dot 6 groove front brake disks
  6. Those are some damn fine alloys, they'd look stunning on that car - No doubt they're about £5,000 extra?
  7. This thread has made me want a Puma again... Going to buy another when my Fiesta sells and have a bit of a project
  8. Before my time or I just never paid attention to him, not the biggest fan of his music but it seems he was a big deal in an Elvis type way - moved music ahead a few generations
  9. I've noticed this too, I was looking at Chimaeras before my Supra cuz I've always wanted one.... Cheapest were about £4k, decent looked after ones starting at about 6-7k. Now it's tricky to find any under about £8k and that's the Chimaera 4l alone. I hope GT3/S4 Esprits don't go up in value, I fancy one of those - especially for £12-15k!
  10. My friends and family think I'm stupid for "Spending loads on an old car" I don't see their viewpoint when they have a 64 plate 1.2 Fiesta....
  11. report them to ebay, get rid of these **** ***** ***** ****
  12. i work with some Americans... They all have catchphrases like American sitcoms Peon #1 - Well, here's the thing (before every sentence) Peon #2 - Ok-Ok-Ok-Ok-Ok, rightrightrightright (in response to his question being answered) Peon #3 - And it's just that (After every sentence) Peon #4 - Is that right? (When someone says something)

mine came a few days after signing up, maybe you missed out putting your address on your profile?
  14. I think there are motorcycles heavier than those cars, good old wood frames... :v
  15. The patterns are probably caused the backing/underside of it... What's making the patterns appear si water ingress or mold. Best bet is to pull the carpet up and have a look. Is your home in a floood zone or on pretty low ground?
  16. Avoid, just go around Normandy in the summer, lots of history and wonderful beaches. Southern France is stunning too. If I were to go on a city holiday it'd be to the US. NYC, Washington DC are fantastic destinations, lots of museums, nice restaurants, history and places to go
  17. None finished sadly, about 35-40% of the way through the standalone thriller book. What are you getting through right now? Currently have American Psycho (I'm concerned that he likes Finlandia as much as I do and I too hate live music/crowds...) and classic James Bond books to get in the zone
  18. Goodyear Eagle F1s, always a solid choice. Think Autotrader rated the Dunlop Sport Maxx slightly higher but I think the gap between them was so close it was down to preference. Budget choice if you have an NA or a TT that you potter about in would be Falken 914s. Remind me of Toyo T1r Proxes but the compound is a bit harder so they wear slower at the expense of grip. Seems their fuel efficiency, wet grip and road noise rating is considerably better too
  19. Started writing a few minor books and even movie/video-game scripts. I'm not the best writer and probably not the best story teller but it's something I enjoy and hopefully one day share with others. If anyone's interested I'll be happy to keep people updated with my main work but it won't be proof read, literally straight from the old genericbookwritingprogramme. As an idea of what I'm writing currently; - James Bond continuation novel from the Flemming series - Standalone thriller/war story - Video game script for an RPG, very Lord of the Rings type deal but more suited to 'modern' types - Movie script, think Paranormal Activity meets Three Kings Lots of other writing work for scripts, storyboarding and even ideas for pitching to studios etc. Further to that reviews/articles on things that interest me. I'm hoping to get some schooling on writing just to get some better structure and general writing ability this year. Thanks to one person on here I did get some good tips and advice on how to go about things (I won't say who just in case but I'm very grateful to them for finding the time to help). I do hope to eventually get a career out of writing about the things I'm passionate about. So yeah if you're interested let me know
  20. Think people are reading into it wayyyy too much, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd go as far to say it's been my favourite, Daisy Ridley and Boyega were great newcomers IMO
  21. Better off spending the £1k or so to repair and sell. I wouldn't buy a car that needed major work because it'd appear as though you're selling it because you feel it's not worth repairing
  22. I have a major soft spot for Negro Carbonio by Dupont paint systems like you get on Alfas/Maseratis - I won't bother posting a photo because in real life it's three different colours. In the sun it's a heavily metallic flaked anthracite colour with a bit of bronze/gold, in low light it's a very very dark metallic grey with a lot of depth, then at night it's pure gloss black. If I were to respray my Supra it'd be in that or Ford Graphite Grey
  23. I'd be trusting Whifbitz, their prices are slightly higher than Knightrider for a reason (for example). But any aftermarket part like bodykits you should expect some work needed - fiberglassing the top of the bumper to reduce panel gap/even off the gaps etc Best bet is to take it to a bodyshop and have them install it for you, that way they can modify/alter it to fit perfectly and then paint it up straight away. While it's stripepd down they'll be in a position to advise on any other work that needs doing - no doubt there'll be some rust hidden by the front bumper
  24. Yup, happened to me just before Christmas, accelerating a bit too quickly onto a dual carriageway, went around a slight corner and the backend went. Corrected and unharmed, just embarrassing. Traction control staying on until June...
