  1. I installed my serviced oem bilsteins and used H&R-springs combo to my car few days ago. I wanted springs from Chris Wilson but i'm broke after wedding so i have to save some money.... However, this setup is very good for road car! Well spend money i think. Ninja edit
  2. Slightly sidenote, but those stock supra bilsteins are re-buildable. Serviced bilsteins+C.W springs could be a great suspension for reasonable budget?
  3. Hi mate! You can always mod n/a Supra, performance difference between these two is very small after that. Exhaust (intake too), decat and tuned ecu (like Mines, Toms ect) isn't that expensive and does give you a quite lot of more performance. N/a is also lighter than z which is a very good thing. If you are interested about going NA-T, you can read U.S forums too. There is a lot of good info and those guys has made a lot of nat conversions.
  4. Rebuild w58 and make it stronger? http://www.ppgearbox.com.au/page.asp?productid=42
  5. Well, driving 1/4 mile is maybe little harder what people think... American car journos did get 14.5s-14.7s for 1/4 mile back in the 90's. I don't know were those test drive cars equipped with LSD or not, but they did have 16" alloys and early 90 tires. This guy drives slightly modded n/a in this video 14.2s, his best was 14.0. I did read his thread year ago, it was good read. Now i don't find it anymore. Mines ecu will improve time, because it has higher rev limit and much more better torque in mid range. It is more easier to drive fast and it goes better from standstill than stock one Video: Anyhow, you have a very nice car
  6. Well, now you need 5 grand for nice one Hope you find what you are looking for
  7. I agree with OP. Supra is a very special car in a many ways. Very unique compilation of old school sports car and high speed performance machine without electric nannies and driving aids. Personally i don't care about straight line performance that much. I find it little bit of boring and there is always more faster cars coming etc but i know that TT (single turbo) -model is a beast and can be a truly super car level performer. You know, ferrari-killer lol Thats a very important thing for many people. I personally love my n/a. It is so good and enjoyable when you are hooning in twisty roads. Stable in corners, good balance, great throttle response (mine is little bit modded), it is quite fast and so on. It 's like porsche 968 with much more charisma and more beautiful body. (And inline six engine ) It is little bit odd that new performance cars are not that enjoyable in real life, they lack driver involvement (at least for me anyway) but they are very fast. On the other hand, quite a many older cars are slower than Supra in general, so i find that Supra got a good balance of speed and driver input/involvement.
  8. What is your hp goal? Nice looking car
  9. But where they could buy one? No one want to sell FT1 is "quite" handsome car...
  10. Damn, Supra is still a stunning machine.
  11. Good luck to find the right one! If you don't want to have a lot of power, i think w58 and na-t combo could be the most cost effective solution? Still fast car tho 2JZ-GTE is a damn expensive motor. W58 is getting more and more expensive too, but tbh every item for Supra is going to cost even more in the future. R154 box is one option also, stronger than w58 but maybe not that nice to use.
  12. Nice trip, well done. Need more beer obviously, but other than that top job What kind of mileage you did get in the long run?
  13. Hi guys, what is value of 6spd n/a? Any idea? I haven't seen those for sale in ages.
  14. Yes i have. Good information for me, and bignum videos are awesome. We have send few messages between us about suspension parts...
  15. OEM Recaros fits always well Do you like Nardi's steering wheels? They have some awesome and little bit of old school -style steering wheels. Where did you get that black OEM carpet?
  16. LOL! My bad mate! I don't know what i was thinking I did mix up two Supras together.
  17. That white one is genuine SZ-R with 6 speed box, and it is a very rare model already. If i didn't already have my SZ-R poopra, i would buy that one with that price. So i think it is worth it. Of course seller could be idiot/fraud because those details are totally wrong, but the car itself is a very appealing.
  18. Well, the original stunt car from the movie scene was n/a It was sold few weeks ago with price tag of 185t$ or so...
  19. Thanks mate! This antenna kit is a great product, easy to install and works very well. Looks good too.
  20. Nice one mate This is a big thing for whole european Supra community.
  21. Pistonheads is all about driving, fun, driver involvement and interaction with car. They talk a lot about it, actually they published video how you can properly heel and toe. Thats the reason why they prefer manual. It's not about speed or high hp, it's about fun, sunday morning hoons and so on. Supra community doesn't talk about driving that much, if all. There is a ton of discussion how to mod our car and make it more powerful and so on, but there is not a lot of threads where we actually discus something about driving and/or improving our driver skills. Personally i would choose everytime n/a manual over TT auto (same goes for example 911 too). I know that auto box in supra is good unit, but manual offers more of driver involvement and fun ect ect and blah blah.
  22. I think that pistonhead is the best car and driving related website, so it would be a very nice to see Supra on their first page or something like that. I hope that you will find what you are looking for Anyone?
