    Supra import help

Mobile.de is your friend. All the most expensive ones are turbo and lhd, price point is 40 000 euros and up. I know one car which was on sale in autumn in Finland. It is red, turbo, automatic and targa lhd. Very nice looking car. If you wan't, i could try to find owner cos i believe it is still on sale.
  2. Thanks mate! So import cost is like 7 thousand pounds?
  3. I saw last year one manual n/a hardtop which asking price was 59 thousand dollars. It was at least as good condition as this one, and manual/ hardtop will increase price. And of course that f&f stunt car MUST be the most expensive n/a
  4. I cant find price for this beauty. How much is this? And that red tt auto is a beauty too.
  5. This dude runs with SAFC NEO+exhaust+collectors (propably header or de-catted im not sure..) quarter mile in 14.2. I did read that his best was 14.0, but i cant find that thread anymore. I think it would be quite similar performance with mines ecu. Standard car is much slower, when it was new it was 14.5-14.7sec 1/4. Nowdays when most cars are old and worn, times are naturally slower.
  6. X2 I think i need header, polished y-pipe thing and de-cat pipes for my car. Finding good header is hard tho...
  7. Mines 10-12hp more plus more torque in mid range and more linear power band.
  8. David, what is price for this piece of kit?

    Supra prices

I know that in general Toyota is not that respected brand in UK, but it does have a punch in it's name in many places around the world. That's the reason why some older Toyota models does sell with very high price. For example FJ40 is a 80-150k dollar truck and of course 2000GT is a million dollar car.... Crazy money. I don't know how high will price be in the future, but if you look values of other legendary toyota's, they can climb quite high... BTW, Supra is already almost six figure car in USA: http://classiccars.com/listings/view/727737/1994-toyota-supra-for-sale-in-st-louis-missouri-63114 And prices in Japan has climbed fast, i don't know is Supra more expensive in Japan than in UK, but it is quite close already... I think now it is time to buy Supra if you want to have one. I didn't buy my car as an invest, i love to drive it as much as possible, but it is OK for me that my car values goes up rather than down
  10. Well tbh, i will rev my sup to little over 7000 rpm when i want to take out maximum performance. The thing is, when you change in higher power band, revs doesn't drop that much after the gear change and you can get best possible acceleration. If you have a good quality spark plugs and high octane gas, i believe there is a difference in torque&power in down low and mid range. For example, if you drive 2nd gear with low revs and you press the pedal, it just pick up speed much faster than standard car. It makes these cars much easier to drive fast. If you want to have more top end hp, i think it will need more supporting mods ie better flowing exhaust+headers, better intake and so on. On the other hand, my car feels that it does response modding better now than when it was equipped with stock ecu. Great upgrade i think.
  11. I agree! It gives a very good gains in n/a too, stock map is too conservative but this piece of kit will fix that. Collectible item in the future for sure, as is Amuse and Tom's and so on. Those dry joints doesn't matter, they are easy and cheap to fix. My local electronic service shop did change all the capacitors and now it runs like new. It did cost like 30 euros or so. It is definitely tuned for high octane gas. However, i think at least in Japan prices have risen up. I bought mine over year ago, and it did cost over 600 euros inc postage and other fees. I tried to get Tom's ecu, but they were too expensive... So i don't know, if you are going to sell this thing for 200£ i will buy it
  12. Little bit of incorrect information. When i was young lad (10 years ago) there was plenty (like 200 or so) of MKIV Supra's on sale in Mobile.de and now there is only about 30. Cars which are on sale in Mobile.de are across the continental Europe, so Supra is quite rare car nowdays...
  13. Purple is horrible. What about British racing green?
  14. I would say go with the Supra. 350 is too heavy and Supra is better sportscar to drive. If you push harder, Supra just gets better and better to drive, and that's a good thing. And if the performance is an issue, you just can make few mods and n/a Supra is as fast as stock 350z. Just buy it while you can. I like 350z a lot, but Supra is just...errr supreme
  15. Sometimes i forget how beautiful car Supra is! Nice pics
  16. But it's got a good spec doesn't it? Brembo brakes, 18" works and that titan box costs a lot. Euro is going downhill, so nowdays building car like that costs like 20 grand euros for just parts alone...
  17. Hahaha! Nice one mate, i didn't notice that. Even non-stock cars are commanding strong premium: http://www.web2carz.com/159281338/1995/toyota/supra/used-cars/for-sale?w2caf=8be436a6a4e0a591
  18. http://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/641548592/overview/?aff=mitula Fekking hell! Rest of the world is following for sure, but that car is quite expensive already. Values goes up in japan too---> But when in europe?
  19. Huh? So expensive at the moment. Even n/a's easily goes over 10.000 $, most expensive SZ-R is like 23550$. TT cars are big money, really big money.
  20. Well, that sounds reasonable priced
  21. Damn that is a beautiful car... I want those wheels and tires
  22. Nice one mate! These are quality cars.
