  1. So, you have a standard Bilsteins with new tune and some kind of service? What springs you have? Or am i totally wrong? I'm thinking a suspension refresh, and my 1st plan is that i send those stock bilsteins to full service and tune. Then change old springs for new ones, but i don't know what springs to get. Stock from Toyota? Tein? Whit...Whix...Whiz..... Well, that damn garage who has a difficult name Lastly, i'm little bit unsure should i change the bushes too.
  2. Yeah, nice color but it is little bit of too slow.
  3. Why it is white? It should be cobber!!! !!1
  4. Read this: http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?480286-NA-W58-Tranny-HP-Levels I would call that 300hp thing a very much of bs.
  5. Why so? W58 can handle at least 400hp in a daily driver car without going boom boom. Or do you want to go even further in terms of hp? I think decent hp is about that 400hp. R154 would be cheap option too, and could handle more power.
  6. This! Don't sell it. And wow how beautiful supra this is.

    New Car

Is it a 5spd or 6spd and what is that exhaust? Good looking car mate
  8. It's in continental europe, that justify that price. Nice car!
  9. So, are those headlights a LHD euro model? BTW, you have a very nice poopra.... Red is just perfect color for this car!
  10. Nice car, but why you did paint the interior? Dat ass....
  11. Very small, in Us it was 4000$ and in Japan in 93' it was (cheapest n/a and the only manual turbo model) 1 300 000 jen. But, for example 6 spd SZR did cost in year 96 about 3,4 million jens and cheapest turbo model cost 3,8 million jens... Thats a very small difference. Edit: Why they did buy a n/a version? Well, maybe they did like it. I mean, for example SZR has all the equipment and performance for fast and enjoyable driving but without unnecessary luxury equipments or electric gimmicky. People tend to love simple and spartan sport cars.
  12. Nice car I love mine SZR, it's a great car to drive. And i think it's a great platform if you wanna have more powahh.
  13. I think you are oversimplifying things. 1) N/a Supra is a great traditional sports car with good performance rather than a supercar-level GT like TT is. Performance of the n/a is similar than Porsche 968. And it wasn't cheap. Price difference in U.S market was 4000$ (34t$ vs 38t$) between base and turbo, and in japan it was quite similar difference. So they both were expensive cars all around the world. 2) Lesser models doesn't affect price, Porsche 911 for example. 3) Supra name heritage. It's a good name and Supra line has always been loved by people and the press, but earlier generations were a real mass products. There is a lot of different models too, and MKIV n/a is the second best in performance (after MKIV TT). So it does not affect overall value of the Supra's. 4) In britain there is a lot of Supra's that are in a very bad condition or chavved out*, and this shows in overall value of the car population. My Supra is from england and it was in totally shit condition. Mechanically sound but some chav did rape interior completely and forget the maintenance of the car. Now, after a lot of work and some money, it is far better shape and it is a cracking car. Even in this forum, some chap did think that 120£ is too much for ABS sensor. If you don't chance that kind of parts, it WILL lower yours car value. For example in germany RHD Supra's are much more expensive than in britain, and those cars are usually in quite good condition. So i think that reason number 4 is the most important thing why price of the Supra is't that high in britain. In continental europe (LHD markets) even RHD Supras are quite expensive to buy. *There is a lot of lovely and beautiful Supras in GB, like in this forum. I just did write things in general level.
  14. Hello from finland! This is my first post here, so be gentle.... I think that SZR is a perfect car for OP. I think he loves n/a engines because he drives honda, and 2jz-ge is a great engine. Thing is, that Supra is another level as a car if you compared it against Civic. It has RWD, better weight distribution and better aero so it is a excellent driving tool in every situation. Great and a very satisfying car to drive! (And has a lot of potential...) I have a SZR with Turbo model suspension+wheels, LSD and ABS-brakes, all factory fitted. Turbo Supra was a beast, it could do skidpad test a 0,98g with early 90's tires! Makes me wonder, how good Supra is in skidpad with modern and sticky tires... Imagine that performance with less power AND weight and you have a SZR. I think it's a real hidden gem in a Supra lineup. I would say go to manual, cos i think you like to change gears anyway and SZR is manual only. You are little tight on budget, i think. So be fast when you find the right car. Supra is so desirable car that people will buy even those RHD-models around the europe and eventually it will lift up prices even in britain. I heard that even in japan Supra is getting harder and harder to find... Sorry about the bad english.
