  1. Bet it's really rusty. Still interesting to see how much the rougher end of the spectrum is worth.
  2. https://www.shoarmateam.nl/content/mkiv-supra-tsrm/ Have a look in the TSRM manuals. Cam cover torque specs are on page 16 of the engine mechanical one. You'll need some gasket maker and a torque wrench with a low range. Removing the intake is probably in the same manual somewhere. You might find it easier to unbolt the TB and y-pipe as a single unit instead of splitting them, I do anyway. 6 bolts on the y-pipe and 4 on a bracket just above the exhaust manifold. Just make a note of where all the vac hoses and plugs go.
  3. As above I bought this one and it works just as good as the denso one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NGK-Ignition-Coil-U1018-NGK48105-Distributor-Coil-Single/171430590753
  4. Something I miss is cargo space so probably some fast estate dad car.
  5. The road looks like the surface of the moon, I wouldn't go full throttle on that even if it was 60 limit in the middle of nowhere. All things considered he's very lucky that that was the only damage caused, it could easily have been sideways into that tree, or into someone's living room, or pulping a pedestrian or two.
  6. Anyone got one of these in decent condition?
  7. Only once, I thought it was amusing. But I guess it'd get old.

    What fate?

Same as Epstein, gets to live on a private island after a faked suicide with a body double. She's untouchable.
  9. https://toyota.epc-data.com/supra/jza80/94050/chassis/3301/04331/ Appears to be different part numbers for seals depending on the year. I'm not sure what the differences are but all 3 are available online. http://shoarmateam.nl/upload/MKIVSupra/Supra-MKIV-Repair-Manual/Transmissions/Manual%20W58.pdf Here's the gearbox repair manual from the TSRM which might help. Looks like the outer case seals are squeezed out of a tube.
  10. I'm in the process of "converting" my NA so personally I don't care about matching numbers. I think in the collector market stuff like that is important, but to the average person who just wants a nice car I bet if your car and a factory TT auto were on sale and there was a £500 difference in price they'd pick yours 9 times out of 10.
  11. I've just got one of the ebay 450kg chinesium ones and I've already broken it. I definitely don't trust it, the engine droops down at an alarming angle. So I don't recommend that one lol.
  12. #3 could be for a rear foglight if it's a jspec. I can't see #1 on my wiring diagrams so could be non-oem for an alarm or something? If all else fails you could always try and trace them back through the loom to see what they attach to on the other side.
  13. I have an A340E with torque converter from an Lexus LS400, maybe it'll fit a Supra too I don't know, or disassemble it for parts. The throttle cable coming out of it is broken and I'm keeping the bell housing. If anyone wants to save me a trip to the dump it's free to pick up from SG8. https://i.imgur.com/XDLnyao.jpg here's a picture.
  14. Maybe someone has a hacked up loom hanging about as I'd like to keep mine intact... Pics of the plugs on http://wilbo666.pbworks.com/w/page/41678224/2JZ-GE%20JZA80%20Supra%20Engine%20Wiring BG1 and BC1 are in the driver's side footwell, BA1 and BA3 go under the fuse box. Ideally I'd like a few inches of wire attached as I need to make an adaptor with them. e. found, thanks
  15. http://gallery.supra-club.ru/ftp/beast_drc/wiring/jdm_supra_wiring.pdf Try page 90 on this PDF for the diagram. Can't help you with the codes.

  17. Because insurance is mandatory and they pay the govt enough in bribes that they'll never look into their monopolistic scummy business practices. 1st question sounds like something to do with your policy? For me it's always been linked to my person and not my vehicle.
  18. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?257788-Manwithsupra-s-Racing-Supra-Project-thread That's this one isn't it? Very unique car.
  19. I was looking at gold wheels for mine, but I have more pressing things that need purchasing at the moment. Maybe I have bad taste. I don't like white on white so I'd go with the original colour, bet they'll look nice once fitted.
  20. I'm looking to test my fuelling, reading the TSRM procedure says to "disconnect the No.2 vacuum pipe" however I can't tell what the hell is going on in the reference pictures because they're so low resolution. Which vacuum pipe does this refer to? I can barely see what's going on in that area anyway because there's things in the way, but any help would be much appreciated. I can't find anything on google referencing it either so it must be very obvious for no one to have asked before. 2jz-ge.

    Rust :(

I had issues under all the plastic mouldings as well. Seems like a common area to get muck and moisture trapped. One side of my rear hockey sticks looked worse than yours (but my outer sills weren't as bad). My bodyshop made a piece and welded that in instead of replacing panels. The bottom corner of my front wings have got manky as well so worth checking there too. I used these guys but they're quite far from you.
