  1. From memory they're some kind of odd metric size between no.10 and no.12. I think I used stainless roofing screws on mine. I could be wrong it was a while ago. Found this diagram on googling the part no.90159-50316 so that might help you if we're talking about the same screws.
  2. Mine's white though, not green. I'm convinced Global Warmism has been turned into a moneymaking scheme by big business and the government. It's a good excuse to raise taxes and make themselves more money to buy more yachts and castles with. As you say, India China and USA are doing significantly more than us, and Africa will be within the next 50 years too. I read somewhere that the 10 biggest container ships create as much pollution as every car on earth so that goes to show how little impact people have as individuals.
  3. I want to retrim some of the plastic interior panels as mine are scratched and worn and look pretty unsightly. The catch is that I use my car as a DD and carry all kinds of rubbish in the boot so I don't want something like Alacantra which is going to show every scratch and spec of dirt or rip when something heavy gets dragged across it. Does anyone have experience with something that looks OEM-ish but won't be damaged? Any specific leathers/pleathers/things? Cheers.

    Omg

That interior really is something. I hate it but I admire how far he's gone with it. I feel like this is gonna end up like that grass painted "showcar" which was floating around ebay for the better part of the 2000s.
  5. Rocker cover gaskets are a good one. If they've never been done before they'll probably be leaky. Also the assorted little hoses all over the throttle body, and PCV hoses.

    Yes or no

Don't think I'd buy a wrapped car even at a normal price, who knows what's hiding underneath.
  7. I have a blitz nur spec backbox with both stock cats in place, it's quiet but sounds nice especially at full throttle. Bit droney under 2k RPM though.
  8. I liked the segment and the bloke's enthusiasm, but with those presenters I'm glad I don't pay my tv tax...
  9. Ok no error codes, just the steady blinking light.
  10. No, somehow I forgot that you could access those on the Supra . I'll check in the next couple days and update.
  11. I've got an intermittent issue with my NA5, when cold after the first couple hundred meters of driving the power cuts completely and then comes back instantly like I've taken my foot off the throttle for half a second (usually around 3k RPM in 2nd the past couple of times). After this one event it's perfect for the rest of the drive. It doesn't happen every time, only intermittently. Anyone had similar symptoms to narrow it down before I start buying sensors?
  12. How much is a reasonable offer? I'd be interested because I want to make a seat for sim racing but obviously wouldn't need the motor for that.
  13. Depends how loud the limit is, some chav in his corsa drove past my house the other day when I was cutting the grass on my drive and it left my ears ringing how loud it was. I like a bit of noise but not that loud. Same with the "loud pipes save lives" bike crew who pull wheelies on the motorways and undertake you at 50mph over the speed limit and ride up the hard shoulders.
  14. Wash mine for me while you're at it I just polished my headlights up, it's bloody hot out there.
  15. Finally! I hope they do facelift bits as well.
  16. Who's got the other half
  17. I took mine to F D¡ckerson and Sons which is in north hertfordshire for rust repair/welding, they did a good job for a good price. Their website says they do accident repair as well. They're apparently quite popular with the mk1 MR2 guys. Might be a bit far from you though. Edit for stupid word filter
  18. The door weather strip snaps in with some clips and is held by one screw at each end (which will be corroded and hard to remove), it's possible it's been taken out and not reinstalled properly for the clips to snap back onto the metal of the door.
  19. How much would you want for postage to SG8? I may be interested when I next get paid
  20. The rubber condom on the back of the shifter linkage is a bit torn but I doubt a new one would cost much. Here's the shifter as well. It's got some ebay spacer to make the throw shorter but you can probably remove that.
  21. I have a W58 which I got when I bought my car, I believe it's in good shape but obviously never tested it. Seems to go into all the gears just fine. The original plan was to swap it in because my current one is a bit crunchy but I've decided to go for another option. The clutch is a spec stage 1, perfect for NA power, costs around £375.00 new from Whifbitz. Never been used, just opened the box to check the contents so you get all the stuff that comes with it (aside from the stickers). Collection only for the gearbox, the clutch I don't mind delivering/meeting within about 30 miles. Any interest at £600 for the box and £300 for the clutch? (I'll upload some pics later today)
