  1. I'll be selling my spare uk fronts soon, as I've just refurbished a set for my car.
  2. Definitely mate, was thinking of leaving home at 17:00 ish?
  3. Email landed in my inbox today, this is going to be awesome!
  4. It will, but the indicators won't self cancel anymore, and it'll drive you mad!
  5. You need to cut away at the rear section, to clear the clock spring.
  6. Don't drill a non spoiler tailgate, they're rare, and very hard to find. You'd be better off buying another second hand one and having it painted.
  7. I choose to forget what I've spent. That way, when the missus asks, I can say "I don't know" and I know I'm not lying. I don't really care what I've spent though to be honest. It's irrelevant as I would've likely wasted the money on some other shit. I've learnt so much during vehicle ownership, which I consider invaluable, and the grin factor makes it all worth it
  8. I'd like to be there! Do you know what time it will likely be jb?
  9. As above, Paul's taken on a much bigger premises in Wales, so I guess it'll take a couple of weeks to get everything up and running again
  10. I recently converted back to auto from manual, because I'm gay and prefer the auto trans........... But After refitting and bleeding the auto trans fluid, the car would move under its own power for a few feet, and then stop. When rechecking the fluid level, it took about another litre to fully top it up, and it's been perfect ever since. Also, I had an issue with the trac light blinking, and no manu mode. Opon checking my ecu, I found it was leaking brown fluid from one of the plugs. I've since fitted a replacement ecu, and it's been perfect ever since. This might not help you, but I'd recommend checking both the ecu and fluid levels
  11. Ralph, you don't live in Eastwood do you?
  12. Use atf type IV. This stuff works well: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F302160783661
  13. I live in Eastwood, and meet with a couple of guys at the halfway house car park, then onto bluewater. Drop me a pm if you want to convoy over with us in August
  14. You should get along to the monthly bluewater meet!
  15. I got cream ones from the same seller I think, was a while ago. But they fitted perfectly, matched the uk carpet perfectly, and have held up really well. I want to get another set for show only
  16. Buy a prius and fit a supra body kit
  17. Sorry to see you having to sell this Kev, hope your back isn't giving you too much trouble
  18. I average circa 300 miles on mine, single turbo
  19. It's easy to get to, the solenoid connects to the boost reference hose on the front of turbo no.1 You also have to disconnect the tvsv, bridge out the vac connection on the egbv, fit a fuel cut defender, and a restrictor plate between the 1st and 2nd cat/decat
  20. Mine is the same as this, was mapped and got to 1.4 bar on the dyno, but started misfiring. Since that day, I can't boost over circa 0.9bar, and it starts misfiring on boost when things start to get hot in the engine bay. I've tried new plugs, new oem coil packs, a different ignitor, checked all the plumbing, coil pack clips are 3 years old and all look good. I have noticed it seems to run a bit rich, but not sure how related that is. If you manage to fix yours, I'd be keen to know what it was.
  21. Yeah I know what I meant The uk calipers I've stripped down, just have two round o rings, that seal the two halves together. These are included in the seal kit I've bought. But, I want to order a set of your front and rear pads
  22. Chris, I'm about to refurbish a set of uk front calipers, and have split them into their respective halves. I can't find any of the square gaskets that you mentioned earlier in the thread, only two o rings that seal the halves together?
