  1. Cheers buddy, I'm beginning to question my sanity, but it'll be worth it. Also nice to look back on [emoji106]
  2. So this weekend has mostly consisted of moving everything around, getting the car in, and stripping it down. I've got a bit more to do next weekend, before I start prepping it for paint. I also welded up the aerial hole on the rear quarter, and plan to do the same with the rear wiper hole on the tailgate. She looks really sorry for herself [emoji24], but good things to come!
  3. Then spent last weekend flatting and polishing them, along with adding the satin black to the trial rear diffuser [emoji41] Also got the door handles painted
  4. So I got them primed and painted a couple of weekends ago
  5. So at 22 years old, the supra was starting to look a little tired in places. In general, the paint is still very good, but various stone chips and the very beginning of some minor corrosion has made me take the plunge into giving it a new splash of colour for the future..... I decided to stay with the original 3l2 red, as it's a lovely colour, and I specifically wanted a red supra during my searches some 5 years ago when I bagged this one. Many of you know the car, and the amount of buggering about I do with it, but no amount of polish was going to get it looking how I wanted it. So, I'm also keeping the same styling, and I managed to bag a spare pair of doors, and trial rear bumper, that I could paint prior to taking the supra to my workshop, which will make reassembly much easier. Unfortunately my unit isn't big enough to paint everything at the same time, so I've been doing bits over the last few weekends, so that once the body is done, I can bolt the fresh pieces on, and my original parts will be kept as spares, or sold on - I haven't decided yet! The trial rear bumper and doors I picked up were in pretty good condition, and didn't take too much prep to get ready for paint.
  6. I know it's been a while, but to update on the same issue I was suffering with..... I bought a spare ecu, plugged it in, and all back working as it should be [emoji106]
  7. Do you mean roll centre adjusters (rca)? If so, then I don't think so, I've certainly never heard of anyone using them on a supra
  8. Andy, please pm me some more details and pictures if you don't mind
  9. To give you an idea, I'm currently in the process of repainting my own supra, and I reckon it'll cost me circa £1k in materials by the time it's done. With the amount of hours to do it properly, I'd need to charge circa £4k to make it worth while, and that's without the overheads of premises and a full blown business to run. I'd expect £5k for a quality job done properly if you were to pay for a company to do it
  10. Of course, if you're good with metal fabrication and welding. But, a bolt in option, will require the correct subframes
  11. They will fit, but you'll need the correct vehicle specific subframes.
  12. Oooh that's a nice touch. Although I guess you'll still have to wire a spare port in. I'm planning to tap into the appropriate ecu wires with mine
  13. May I ask why you need a spare diagnostic port? Is yours missing?
  14. Yes, I have one, although I've never fitted it. They are made by a fella called Jean francois and you can contact him on the details in my photograph
  15. They're only £160 brand new, but I had a plan for these
  16. Bugger! If the sale falls through, I'll take them
  17. Also, putting a bit of hairspray around the pipe and fittings as you put them together helps a lot. Pretty much glues them in place!
  18. I also have two sets of oem coil packs for sale, both of which were perfect at bpu. I also have a 100 mile old set of benchmark coil packs, that I bought to test, whilst trying to fix a misfire. I ended up buying new oem ones, which still didn't fix it, as the problem was elsewhere - so I believe the benchmark ones are perfect
  19. Have you checked for error codes?
  20. That's a really good price!
  21. How much were the pagid discs?
  22. Hankook ventus v12 evo tyres are excellent! No one ever mentions them, but they are a serious contender
  23. I'll take the trial rear bud, and would prefer to pay cash on collection I could pop over one evening in the week?
