  1. 255hp. seen loads with more power, but think the box is only good for 350-400
  2. Nice one mate, glad you got that shell your treat it well.
  3. i think a 80-20 split would be good, allowing for `some` slip but giving a bit of extra traction.
  4. thanks mate, il get some G4 on order
  5. Going to take mine off soon, sooner than planned by the looks of it.... ...What would be best to clean it up with to sell? Thought I'd see what people shine up their pipe with

    Supra or GT-R

I can't give an opinion because I've only driven a Supra. I'm surprised so many other's have such strong opinions when they are in the same position as I. You might as well do a car review from Fonza or Youtube.
  7. Actually, I think its a great idea to sell, who wan'ts a supra get rid mate. I'd like first dibbs on the car
  8. be easier to mould in gauge pods wouldnt it, think your struggle to get a perfect finish under the gauge bezel otherwise dude
  9. People are still buying the parts as well, so clearly alot of people still in love with their motors. Hell of a build mate, you must just be pleased you've done so well with it.
  10. Problem sorted. Think there was a reaction on the top layer. Bought another can of laquer, a good polish didn't help so cooked each layer properly and just kept giving it another coat until it went glossy. Alot of work every morning and evening just for bloody tinted lights, cost me a whole can of laquer just to sort this argh! Worth it though they look nice. Lucky customer!
  11. Keep it matt black and it will look awesoe mate.
  12. There is a slight dull look to it for sure. Not sure about a milky look, I did leave it for a day before I laquered them. I was only doing these for a favour I don't want to have to spend hours polishing them when I was trying to help someone out.
  13. I used clear coat laquer that I've clear coated other items with no problem. I gave both coats a heavy spraying around 7" distance until I had a nice glossy finish, it jus wont set right. I dont want to try to polish it, it wont take right after that so maybe i need to try something new. my shed does get like an oven though, could this affect the drying process?
  14. The laquer I use always come up with a clear finish its not a matt finish. Matt laquer looks shocking and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone ruins the tone of the paint. Thanks Malc, I'll give it ago.
  15. Tinting some rear lights, the tint came up nice with a shine but it's not the best, so gave them a coat of laquer which looks gorgous until it goes off, with which a matt finish is left? Any ideas? Is it drying to fast maybe due to heat?
  16. they can fit 3 litre engines into MR2's but they are usually the V6. I don't think a straight 6 can fit.
  17. look at the rear arch liners like I done with the front at the show. easiest and quicker way. if you have stock arch liners they will have to be modified unlike your front ones which have a gap (like mine)
  18. jealous! that looks like a 5" tailpipe, massive! I want my own 4" system
  19. Just fitted new intercooler setup. Was going to fit the stock airbox back on and blow through some pressure to give it an extra clean out. Ive blasted it out with water, flushed the tubing and used clothes to get everything out after which I blew air into them but still not 100% as don#t want to risk anything. This shouldn't damage the turbo being disconnected I take it? Just wanted to check before I started flowing air
