How come you are having different tyres front and rear ? It would be a much predictable drive and setup if you use the same tyres all around or you are going to get difference in grip.

Keron probably has them in stock or a Toyota dealer. I wouldn’t but anything other than a genuine part though.

Just get tyres with rim protectors on if you really need to but as said above learning how to park without hitting a kerb is a much cheaper option. Isn’t this part of the driving test ?

Pretty much every single dash cam uses an SD card to store footage so I suppose as long as you need to get rid of the card.

That one is a UK spec which is why it is demanding a premium.

My worry is that moisture is going to get trapped in these covers, even if they are breathable if there is poor airflow through your garage it's just going to sit there are cause rust issues.

The button has moved inside the unit so it's a very fine art to flick it between modes and turn it on and off. It has been going 8 years of which it's probably been in constant use for 6 of those so I think it's earnt a well deserved retirement !

My trusty CTEK charger is showing its age now being 8 years old ! It's still going strong though but I feel it's time to get a new one as technology has moved on quite a bit since then ! Before I buy another CTEK one does anyone have any suggestions of what's worth a look for sub £100. I only need it for maintenance whilst the car is standing and it won't be used for anything else like reviving dead batteries etc so doesn't to be a jack of all trades. It will only ever be used on the Supra and just needs to be safe to be used for long periods of time. I am currently looking at the CTEK MXS 5.0 charger at £62.

Did you get this ? If so did you find the frame number and check it on the registry website ?

This thread has been a very interesting read and a very good medium for Ben to share his experience. It would a shame to have to remove it because of childish squabbling and name calling, can we please keep this civil and on topic or i'll just start banning people from posting on it or remove it all together depending on how i'm feeling which isn't a great outcome for anyone.

That's truly shocking but I am sure that even with their dodgy contract they won't be able to get out paying as their own contract will be void by their mechanic breaking the law.

Well there was a post from a long term member only a few minutes after the original telling him it was worth in the low teens thousands.

From the photos it looks immaculate and from the description by the OP I can’t see how it couldn’t have been ?

When you know a car is under scrutiny due to previous issues and with another independent garage being involved you think that no one would be daft enough to try this ... Deliberately removing bulbs if that is what the garage have done to me is surely bordering on the realms of a criminal offence ?

He was always going to make money on it as it was bought massively under market value but the seller was very happy with the price. Looks like all the bodywork issues have been sorted and looks like it’s been resprayed so will be a nice example for someone.

The forum is here first and foremost for the benefit of its members. Members posting about a company that have done work on their Supra isn’t a problem as long as it doesnt read like a company advert but I’m personally a little sceptical that it is being written by the company itself. I’ll be interested to read the contents of the write up and reserve judgement for when I see it. Whlist we like members to post about what they want we also have an obligation to our paying traders to monitor any companies who advertise and we deem to be circumventing the rules. I personally don’t see how a company can be objective about their own work.
