I’m going to replace the both brake pipes that run to the rear brakes, front discs and pads. Also looking to swap the clutch master cylinder as it’s leaking. I’ll be getting a garage to do this and was looking at what I should be looking to pay for each fitted.

Might be worth mentioning if it has had the vss done and if any of the suspension arms have been replaced. Looks an incredibly nice car and is comptetively priced.

I’m going to try and get a meet organised as it’s been eons since the last local one ! This thread is to see what interest there is and gauge numbers as this will determine venue. It will be based in Chesterfield so not far from Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby etc looking late August early September. How does 31st August or 1st September work ? I’m thinking meeting up at a pub with a decent size car park and having a bite to eat. Could add a short drive around if people want that ?

From what I have read mixing oil can create hot spots in the engine due to different types of oil having different properties.

Depending on how accurate the fuel gauge is I did 300 miles on less than half a tank and that was a mix of motorways and smashing it down B roads like a hooligan Just to reiterate that it depends on how accurate the fuel gauge is I might 100 miles out the last half who knows ?

Had a great time and nice to put names to faces ! Thoroughly enjoyed it and thought the scalextric was a great idea. I too didn’t take any snaps as I was too busy chatting with everyone. Hotel was spot on and as Pete said service was top notch.

I have the issue that there aren’t any uk spec or even jspec manuals for sale that are reasonably stock.
