  1. You need to bridge the resistor on the tach board for a NA tach to work with a TT engine
  2. ECP is a con 90% of the time. Early on in the year you get real discounts on oils and thats about it. Every other thing seems to go up slightly and then a friday discount appears. Most bits can be had on ebay cheaper
  3. Pm SRD i saw they put some on a supra build they did
  4. Mike, just saw this post mate and just had a PM from Shane, who ever, when ever is all good with me
  5. Find a wheel alignment company with the hunter machine. Sounds like hes breathing bs.
  6. That is a bloody good price
  7. Join my group in the link below, lots of aftermarket part numbers for mostly N/A's, however they do share quite a few same parts as TT's.
  8. Hi all, question for my mate who has a TT6 engine/box/diff and has a NA manual speedo cluster. The fuel and temp work and we got the Tach working by bridging the resistor, we found that info on the forum, But were struggling to get the Speedometer to work correctly, it moves but its somewhat lagging. Are there any tips on getting it to work? could it be the speed sensor causing the issue, different between NA and TT manual box? cheers
  9. Side question. If yours is a uk spec why is there 2 switches instead of 3 on the ignition panel?
  10. Are the bushes the only difference between Supra and Soarer front lower arms? if so is there any data for the bush sizes? cheers
  11. No way?! I actually thought theyd be enough to demist the screen. Might aswell bybass the engine hoses - - - Updated - - - When are these new type matrixs coming out? You should make them. And if you use social media alot of supra owners worldwide need the matrix
  12. Very reliable. I have had spures where something needs replacing one after the other. But over all once the engines maintained properly its trouble free.
  13. Im using castrol transmax dex iii. Been in the car for years with no issues. Around 2L i used to flush the whole system
  14. The arbs are soild bushes i doubt they will get much more wear with some strain on them while stationary. Even the drop links. Better for the shocks to being lifted. Ever seen a barn find with failed shocks? All the time.
  15. Please re crimp that red exposed wire
  16. There is need. The handbrake mechanism on a 20+ year old car will seize up pretty quickly if it hasnt been refreshed in there. Modern fuel will go bad sitting stagnent in a matter of months. And depending on how old his tyres are already they will more or less dry rot on the side walls in 2 years of no use. So to prolong the handbrake mech and tyres the axle stands will be needed
  17. Up on 4 axle stands, handbrake down, drain the tank, remove the battery. When you back, have fresh fuel, new battery, may want to drain the engine oil and fill with new oil. And stick some new tyres on it.
  18. I wouldnt remove the undertrays. Youll soon see the rad support beam and steering rack start to go. Delbody 52 had some nice carbon louvers fitted to his oem hood. Worth a check. But if your producing enough heat to cook a battery you may want to loose the hood all together
  19. Over the years i have had the dis pleasure of trying to fault find and tinker with BMWs. From body repairs and stupid clips to even trying to pin point a simple leak. Covers here plates there, sensors every where. Fault codes galore and even finding out that a timing chain needed to be replaced on one...and to my horror finding out the chain was at the back of the engine. Great design! Not. In all honestly they all look the same to me. Its that pig nose grill and stupid badge above them. When someone says 318 9 10 11 12 i honestly cant put a image to the name. Definatley a status car on the roads as the amount of idiots ive crossed either want or have one. The jokes out there about bmws not having idicators and being right up behind someones tail on the fast lane became common jokes becuse they are true. I truely hate those things and will honestly never own one. Rant over. Sorry
  20. Mate if theres a car out there with known engine issues yoy need to get it out of your head. Would you buy a house in a area thats known for robbries? BMW are always doing this to its customers..which is why ill never own one.
  21. That top secrect wing is custom by top secret and actually molded into the bootlid. That actual ts supra sold in dubai and currently resides there. Theres a whole video with that supra and you will see the wing. Will post later
