  1. imo i think my car will rise is price, not being big headed or nothing but i think there are 2 models to look for both should be as nice and oem as is likely! and thats the 6sp TT and the gz aerotop TT. if i ever thought id like to sell, at this time, id want 9-10K.
  2. what about twinturbo aerotops
  3. both my supras have done this, normally if its been parked up for a couple of days, strange sort of blow/rattle/ hasint dont it for ages, seems like it comes from the gearbox area to me, drive 20 yards down the road and it goes. i dont take any notice of it anymore because nobody seems to have an idea what it is? i did a post of it years ago with a vid and noise, have alook back throw my posts, way back tho
  4. hi chris, it was the rubber pipe that was gone, new part fitted, thanks
  5. my veilside evo exhaust sounds really nice, not in your face loud but loud enough for people to look, cats are in also, with them out its even more, when i get chance il video it and stick it on here
  6. im about 18 miles from cardiff
  7. keep it, you will regret it big time if you sell
  8. sure my old TT aero use to have the foot well lights, i take it not all supra have foot well lights? as my current car does not light up in foot well, my door ring and ignition light up
  9. i didint think you could make your car look younger with a private plate, what year is this car ? nice plate, would love that on my L plate TT
  10. not sure if this has been asked, but i wonder if this very car is around today?
  11. there was a small split in the rubber hose right along the bottom clip, seems as tho the clip over time maybe cut into it, not sure, but the only way you will see it leaking is with plug cover off and engine running, if its leaking you will see it plain as day, well you can see in the video i posted. these cars are getting on now, il probably be replacing hoses for the next couple years on and off now i expect, ive already replaced rad hose, (oem toyota), vac lines (apart from the really awkward ones behind engine, this coolent hose now, ive got a replacment intercooler to go on off a low mileage car, il love to do others bits and bobs but its suprising how much toyota want for some of the bigger pipes under the bottom.
  12. Yip you were right lol, thank god. Bloody pig of a job tho, for me anyway. Right between the engine and bulk head, i couldint get pipe off, i had to go to halfords to buy one of them plyers thats got a bend init so i could get at the clip and even then i had to take off the turbo to inlet pipe that runs behind. Always get a bit well you know with doing certain jobs on these now because certain bits and bobs are quite frail and easy to damage something else in the process . Nice new pipe
  13. Whifbitz do and oem upgrade £400 looks really good. But i have a low mileage oem in the loft, waiting to go on the car , they are about, you pick up a nice condition oem cooler. I paid £80 because no one wanted it at the time , got to be £150-200 all day long, done 45-50k Didint look this good when i bought it, but i must have 2 maybe 3 hours on it, straightening fins, give a very light coat of paint and cleaning / flushing it through to get all the oil crap out of it
  14. Thank GOODNESS for that, found the problem, see vid lol, off to toyota in a bit now, they overnighted me a new part. £34 inc new clips, http://s331.photobucket.com/user/supraGZaerotop/media/new%20supra%202011%20photos%20etc/IMG_5734_zps386ce263.mp4.html
  15. in the garage earlier, found this in number 6 plug well. i cannot see anything leaking from the rear pipe tho! take it that red should not be there?
  16. I think, but hope not, head gasket! if it is tho, shall i go for hks gasket or toyota oem? Also is headgasket known on these as they are getting older?
  17. oil cap is fine, had a good look, nothing but the black stuff. when ive been reading older threads about this sort of thing they say take rad cap out for bleeding in that it shoulding come out should it, but draw it in, or is that when the thermo is open. ive read about read pipes bursting and spilling coolent into plug valley!
  18. is this normal ? http://vid331.photobucket.com/albums/l462/supraGZaerotop/new%20supra%202011%20photos%20etc/IMG_5726_zps2d4b99ce.mp4
  19. hi, i did dip my finger in it and put it on my tongue, was bitter, my rad is full, but my expansion tank is down on the low, i topped it up the other day becuase i had a pipe leaky the other day at the bk by where you said but on top by back of cam cover!, clip was on a bit dodgy, i moved the clip up and thats ok now. id love it if it was just a bloody pipe. just gone out now quick, car starts perfect runs smooth no miss, i didint have time to leave it warm right up tho, got my baby daughter to look after. will have a good look on weekend, taking it up my mates garage, hes very good, jap cars are his speciality.
  20. How would coolent be in the wells? Will do tho, that would mean head gasket??
  21. Yeah but its both same time, look more into it over weekend now. Its just strange, leak and mis, im preparing myself for head gasket, but i didint think these suffered from that. But then its 21 year old, somethings bound to go at some point.
