Ok, last night on way home the car was fine, did drive it hard tho. This morning, pulled out of garage to find this I checked lvls all seemed hood so i thought id use it as its my main transport, anyways i got about 3 miles and the car started sluttering, missing by the feels of it. Idle is low and up and down. Il couldint go above 40 due to this problem, car feels terrible. Hope its nothing major, but i anit holding my breath, leak on floor that seems to be coolant a major miss fire, not good me thinks, i just parked it up and took my missus car :-( any ideas?

I fitted mine maybe 8 months bk. i was wondering about the oem black surrounds, i decided to leave them in place as there us enough thread there, still in no issues, should i have removed them then? Another reason why i left them is because i didint want my brace marking my towers and those stock surround are a perfect fit as they would be!

They are old gearboxes now in they, i have had this happen to my car once before, maybe 9-10 months ago, exactly the same, i have since change all my vac lines and a vsv iavc i think it is, cars fine now. Ive got 2 lt of trans fluid left for another change soon, i do think these boxes respond really well to a service

Sure this is on youtube in usa few years ago now, one of my fav vids. still on there where the seller is advertising it, looks very similar, easy to find on there, just type in single aerotop supra or similar

Like jamie i thought of picking up a red uk spec bonnet and scoop so if i didint like it i could just fit jspec back on

Why would u even bother when you can buy a gz aero for up to 10k, even if u wanted a 6 speed coversion it would be far less cost and a proper job, hell an NA aero as a base car even

so could be cheap fix then? maybe just try a new clamp, wonder, would i lose much coolant if i just popped it off, when cold of course. -
hi all, looking for some info what you u think of this pipe, i noticed it about a year ago and seems to be getting worse. ive lost maybe 200ml of coolant in a year which i know is nothing. is this pipe a common issue? has anyone replaced it, cost? thanks

unless its an targa top TT the prices close in then.

as said just a very lightly damp microfibre on the facias and i use autoglym vynel and rubber care sprayed onto a microfibre for the top dash to keep it in tiptop condition.

ive got a replacment oem one to go on ive had for 2 years, just carnt be harst to put it on, will do soon tho. anyhow ive painted it very lightly in black after spending hours sorting all the fins out, intercooler has done about 50k this is it finished -

hi chris, going on from what we were talking about over pm. seems as tho i found the issue 10psi ! after i get a replaced tyre put on i see how the car is then, fingers crossed

just ordered up another partworn , the 3 others are good with no leaks so il make sure this one going on in the week now is checked over properly

will keep note of that thanks, you are a tyre dealer then? ive just ordered another bloody partworn now because im stuffed other wise, not driving it with that tyre on there now. just paid £37 delivered, for 3.8 mm lol, even tread and no repairs and no wall damage, just to get me by for now

yeah, but then at the time i couldint go £700 for tyres all round so i payed £280 for a set with between 5.5 -8mm instead, ive done it before in the past, you can get some great bargains in part worns. but yeah, you got to make sure theyre good. anyhow i need to find another 265/35/18 conti contact 3 now, anyone got 1 for sale in good order with at least 4mm

well the issue i had with my handling meant i didint know if it was tyres or the rims, so i didint want to put brand new rubber just just in case. i decided to go partworn and next year or so, brand new all round. think it was £85 i gave for it thinking now, so you think its not a knife wound then, to be honest i normally run 36 in them all, was only 2 3 weeks ago i had them all changed and the tyre garage only puts 30 in all round, i just hadint got round to top them

to be honest they are all part worns tho, but i paid good money for them. this one with the damage is a 13 stamp tyre with 8mm of tread, i paid £100 for it, not impressed
