  1. thanks all, will order some up. i know what youre saying tho, toyotas prices are on the rise i think. phoned last week for oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, sump washer, thats it £95:shock: for a few bits!! thats without the atf fluid. got some titan race left from last time so only had to buy a gallon this time but that was £50. with everything your looking £200-250 for just a bloody engine service!! (did want to do new iridiums and coilpack clips, be looking £300+
  2. thanks, seems alot of parts are better in oem flavor regarding the supra
  3. will do no prob, check bk in a few days
  4. is it worth it?, these filters from k&n are £70! toyota oem £35. how much better if anything are these filters over stock? i know they last but you still have to clean them and reoil them dont you? or do you think just buy a new oem filter?
  5. is there a part number for this stuff, running low, need to get some more to do another 2 litre change on my autobox, will toyota now what it is if i ask for type 4 atf fluid or will i get strange looks. i bought my last lot from envy years ago
  6. good to know, cheers chris, just ordered up the amount as stated in this thread. il post up a pic of the gates hose for those interested in this stuff.
  7. yeah had the geo looked at a year ago, it didint do anything regarding the clunking on full lock, car drives fine, straight and true. it very well may have been the tyres age on the car for some reason that caused it. spoke to chris wilson about it some time ago and he asked what wheels i had and said it was something to with the wheels he thought, oem sizes regarding this car are the best. cheapest option for me was to change the tyres over, so i did. and its transformed the car. like i said i dont know if it was down to the tyres being old but i didint want to replace the tyres with the same sizes, i just thought going that extra step closer to oem would be a good idea and it was. feels so nice now i can turn the wheel full lock and nothing, its was really bad, could feel it thru the car.
  8. well my car is perfect now, never thought tyres would cause that, felt like there was something major clunking about but car is solid. anyone have this issue, replace tyres
  9. Soooo happy ive changed my 7 year old goodyear eagle f1s 245/40/18 and 275/35/18 to continental contact 3 all round but for 235 up front and 265 on the rears. OMG its like different car, no longer is the skipping front end an issue, dont clunk while on full lock manoeuvrings/parking/driveway anymore, no more switchy handling at speed. my god, id never have thought it. but if anyone have this issue, replacing your tyres to a more oem size tyre is a vast improvement.
  10. cheers for that. think this is the stuff il get then as the sizes on the wurth site were a little off. this gates stuff is 4/5/6mm cheap ish too. just waiting on an closeup photo of the gates pipework now, just to make sure of what it looks like, what to stay as close to oem look as possible.
  11. thanks chris, also found this stuff, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330803508813
  12. does anyone know the best place to buy high quality 4/5/6 mm reinforced vac lines from? in black
  13. thanks but i think there may have been soldering work involved so not sure if it will be as simple now to just switch bulbs over, not sure
  14. this is the problem mate i think, to many bloody potchers out there wrecking these cars. does my head to be honest
  15. be interested in knowing more info on the dash and the lights in general so will watch this thread with interest
  16. im not sure without taking it all apart whats been done, looking at hecklers site then its a pretty comprehensive mod, mostly will have to swap parts over be the easiest
  17. this is my reasoning mate, dont see the point in messing around with it, ive ac controls go for peanuts anyway £25-30 ish
  18. could well be, sort it in time, maybe il change everything back and sell the blue stuff
  19. yeah thanks mate, this is what im going to do in time i think. mainly because i want the car bk oem. just want to keep the stock look. the blue lights are ok yeah, look nice but like i said, my main dash clocks are so dim i cannot see them at night, the flickering AC unit may be down to a dry joint, other things that bother me, and AC controls and not sure if its a dry joint issue, but say i hit the button face and feet the blue light will be ok, and when i say hit the button for full face theres no light on the AC unit at all! while certain other button will flicker. but like you said im going to start picking parts up, think theyre pretty cheap.
  20. i know it was done by heckler mate, previous owner told me so. anyhow the work on this particular led conversion is like i said, shocking.
  21. any idea how much replacment blubs are, any part number ? thanks
