  1. I changed out my battery as was dead, got another but was slightly different size so my battery cover don't fit, its in my loft, I'll have to get a battery that fits in future
  2. when you ttc and plumb the pressure lines straight to the actuators, does this means the actuators are fine?
  3. took mine out the other day after 3 weeks. still not right ahahahahahah. but then im still to change the firewall vac lines and intake link pipes.
  4. some bits are discontinued mind you, i was after the little plastic circle finishing bit that covers where the centre bolt goes in. no no
  5. thanks all, I wont be driving the supra for about 3 weeks now as I'm off work on hols. am I right in thinking having looked at the vac lines! that the pressure tank/turbo side of things are nothing to do with the inlet manifold pressure vac lines?
  6. Well the drive home from work was really good, seems to be working now altho not perfectly. As I said before, while already up to bypass speeds when I put my foot in it, it launches forward seeing 0.5 and then 0.8. But in a different scenario like just now, i came up on a junction, pulled out and altho i didint mash my foot to the floor i poked it hard enough for it to have boosted, instead just 0.5 up 4k and just seems to rev then pushing the first turbo which of course I then bk off. Got back to the garage and pulled the pressure line off and nothing came out, in ttc I get a massive whoosh. The iacv vsv i have replaced only 4 years ago I'm thinking maybe is a bit duff or I'm thinking can something go wrong with the air valve body the actuator is connected to. Seems as tho I'm losing vac when in sequential but not ttc, and the only difference in that is the vsv are not connected! Is it possible for vsv to leak? Car is much better now anyway so tightening various pipes and replacing the egcv, and cleaning my hks bov and replaced a few more vac lines has done something. Only thing left I know of now is change the lines behind the engine and buy 2 new link pipes on the intake.
  7. only i will say is, just how is the turbo system suppose to work in how it delivers its power, meaning when i build the revs slowly to 3.5-4k it still dont come online, i mean driving like miss daisy to 4k now, no matter what engine speed your doing, at 4k is it suppose to boost? because the way my sequential mode runs on my car is, first turbo genrates about 0.5 unless im pulling off low revs then its about 0.3-4, and if i give the loud peddle a decent shove its now boosting 0.8+ but no more than 0.9.
  8. switched car back to sequential last night ready for today. have since tighten some hoses which were tight enough anyway to be honest. mainly all ive done since ttc was change a couple of small vac hoses around by turbo boost sensor, and i thought id spray some gt85 in to the egbv and let it sit over night, took car to work this morning, initially it was the same, few miles down the road i tryed it, noticed 0.5 first turbo solid & gave the throttle a good shove and was getting a soild 0.8, was shocked! not holding my breath but will see how it goes, wondering if running in ttc could it have freed something up? or did the gt86 in the egbv do anything. will keep updated
  9. But the car boosts great in ttc, if there was a vac leak wouldn't it not?
  10. Cheers mate, going to go right through it all, going to changed every single vac hose and check every vsv also going to change the 2 turbo link hoses. Is the carchaoal canister anything to worry about leak wise or is it just vapour, thanks
  11. I did not know the pressure tank had a vsv, I'll have to look on the part program for it. Anyhow I've been using ttc today, very different. One thing I noticed. when I pulled the pressure line off while in sequential mode I got very little air release. Today while in ttc I thought I'd try it, I got a blast of air. Does this mine there is zero leaks? If so where my vacuum going in sequential !
  12. also could it still be an actuator even tho its running fine in ttc, could it be a tired slicking actuator in sequential mode over ttc. maybe !!?
  13. thanks for reply, great stuff. ive replaced all vac lines apart from the ones around the plenum and power steering and also the 2 running down the bk of the engine. all the rest of them are new all round the turbo system/y-pipe etc. my mate reackons just because it works in ttc it could still be a vac leak. my link pipes are also shot. il check that rear pipe later tho . thanks. ps i quite like ttc, like an old school single
  14. also is ttc safe? fueling wise i mean. ive just pulled the pressue lines off the 2 vsvs and plumbed straight into actuators?
  15. right so over the last few months on and off my turbos have been acting up a bit, the old 2nd turbo not coming online, off the throttle bk on and there she blows, so i replaced the iacv few years ago becasue of this issue. I just bought and replaced the egcv, no difference and still intermittent and also find it now dont quite boost to 0.5 and only gets to 0.6ish 2nd tubro. took top intercooler pipes off as were greasy causing them to blow off under boost, cleaned, tighten up great. so i thought right ttc mod now to check as im thinking its a vac leak. car boosts perfect in ttc, 3rpm starts to spool, 4k sees 0.8 or matbe very slightly just under but i think this is due to my intake link pipes are shot, all swollen inside. so am i right in thinking it can only now be another duff vsv or could it still be a vac leak even ttc works great? many thanks
  16. ive also emailed twice about upgrading to lifetime as ive paid many times over the years, no reply! if the mods don't want to know then , no offence kick them out and appoint new ones
  17. for sure its dead on here nowadays
  18. I'm 36 max ncb, agreed value of around 14k-15k I think and it about £500
  19. I just replaced my antenna as the plastic rod snapped inside. £73 with 10% of my local mr T. The whole unit is still in stock new from toyota but its £350
  20. I had a set of 100% perfect black pure sports mats a few years ago even still had the factory tags on them. Sold my first supra so I sold them , wish I kept them now.
  21. Stock 90% with just wheels and exhaust
  22. That budget won't buy you an aero top these days mate.
  23. I use auto finesse illusion as my lsp on my supra, previously machine polished it with meguiars 205 finishing Polish just to take out a few wash marks, you could always apply a sealant and then top with a wax for overkill
