  1. 47 members apparently....but any mention of a show or meet =
  2. Haha! You obviously don't know our Scottish women! Megan would boot us both in the privates for suggesting leaving her behind!
  3. Would love to see this car at a show one day. What's the timescale of the revamp?
  4. Spoken to the lads via PM and seem genuine and easy to deal with. Stopping in there after DragonBall to pick up parts that I've already paid for. May can't come soon enough

Hope someone take it on! Was a great event last year and should have far more club attendees IMO.

Welcome on board. Try and make it along to one of our monthly meets or the F&F7 meet in April. Should be a good turnout for that hopefully.
  9. I've got a tank that will be going spare soon. Around 50L at a guess. Been a home for one of my big corn snakes but just bought him a larger vivarium. No idea how to post it without getting broken though?
  10. Spacing on them is off slightly bit these are a test set to check design. The company that make them do loads of LED rear lights for various models and their stuff is top notch.
  11. It's about right. Quality of the leather and trimmers reputation considered. I was quoted te same for Pair of front Recaros Rear bench Door arm rests Steering Wheel Handbrake Grip Gearstick Gaitor
  12. I like them but feel I'd sway between them and facelifts throughout the year. Easy swap over but the expense of them puts me off
  13. The car that the plate is on must have a valid mot(possibly taxed also) Quickest method Rog would be for you to post all your docs (v5, mot etc) to Ash. Ash could then attend a local DVLA office with all the documents and complete the paperwork all in that same day. Doing it this way means that the turnaround is much much quicker.
  14. You know they would suit the 1A1 better.
  15. The vin saying it was once an auto will hinder the price. It will not sell for as much as a factory TT6. I'd say sell the car for £10k with some stock 17s and good tyres. This is realistic. You can then sell the wheels (ideally to me) for circa £1.2k-1.8k (depending on the tyres and condition of the wheels) That gives you your 11.2-11.8k back and will result in a shorter timescale for the sale.
  16. As Mr Lyall said I have the S6 PRA plate on my black car and I wouldn't change it. I always thought S11 PRA would be the preferred plate but in reality it's just an additional character longer. 5 character plates look better IMO but even then the only ones that look right are: S2 PRA S6 PRA S8 PRA S9 PRA
  17. What is the most popular of these crank pulleys and why? Fluidampr must be a sound choice if SRD keep them in stock and they utilise the OEM belt length. Do they have any benefits over one another?
  18. Get the exhaust off the car mate. Will be far easier and take less time. When I did mine I used my buffing wheel and polishing kit. If doing by hand I'd suggest starting with a wet and dry 2000/1500 grit to remove the dirt and tar contaminants.

    Hello everybody

Welcome Mandy. Michael....she is from Tain
  20. So is everyone on the list going to the Scottish Car Show?
  21. Definitely the finish I'd go with on your colour of car car mate. Hardware could be changed for chrome, gold, NEO chrome or whatever you fancy tbh.
