  1. Try adjusting the mtu on the laptop.

    Mobile Phone

The newer n95 8gb version has a bigger battery. I found a good way to make the battery last alot longer if you use wifi was to turn down the TX power from 100mw to 10 or 4 mw. I charged mine on sunday morning and its just down to one bar now with about 30-40 mins on the phone and a good hour or so of browsing via wifi each day and a few texts. I know thats not great but its OK.
  3. My fiancée is terrified of clowns. Even if one appears on the TV for just a moment she will scream and hide. I also know someone who is scared of unripe bananas. Ripe ones he is OK with but you can actually chase him with a green banana; very amusing. Personally I am scared of centipedes + millipedes. It’s something about the way they look and move. I cannot stand them; especially the huge tropical ones.

    Internet Useage...

3GB in a week is nothing. Some of these "unlimited" tariffs are disgusting. I have never recorded my useage over a long period but I am guessing its quite alot. sometimes I will download over 10GB a day. Other days not alot.
  5. I'd love a house with a huge pond. We only have room for a 10-15k gallon liner type pond. Even small amounts of fresh cement/concrete can be fatal to fish, even if its just on a rockery nearby. From the sounds of it the pond you are looking at is quite well established which is a good thing. What type of fish are you planning on keeping?

    Wet & Waxed

Those products are good. I used the autoglym "Aqua wax" the other day and it did a good job even when soaked.
  7. My power steering pump sometimes makes that sound. It sounds almost like somone has a small can of fine gravel and is turning it over and over. A couple of squirts of oil on the bearing and it goes away for a few days. I am planning to fit a new pump soon.
  8. I find that the rear wheels wont spin unless there is tons of standing water or a very poor road surface. If its just damp or on a good bit of road I can floor it all the way. This is a uk spec on original wheels and suspention with T1R's

    A sad day....

As everone says just drive the supra less and buy a runabout. I recently had to change my job due to redundancy and my commute went from 2 mile round trip to over 60. I was spending 400 a month on fuel alone. If you get a cheap diesel it will soon pay for itself and the supra starts to feel special again when you drive it.
  10. If you can find something with a few mods it maybe easy enough to put it back to stock and make some money selling of parts?
  11. The trouble with autos is off the line. I expect once going they are faster but it seems to take a second or two while you wait for the 2nd turbo due to the long first gear.
  12. It varies depending on where you look. The toyota brochure says 4.9 Some online sources say between 4.7 and 5.6 It almost certainly depends on how sympatetic to the car you are and the conditions. In the dry at 0 degrees c with someone who doesnt mind powerbraking i imagine its alot quicker then in the middle of summer at 30 degrees with a sympathetic driver.

    ABS problem!!

yeah but it shouldnt make the wheel lock up instantly when he touches the brakes. I can understand it if he was braking moderatley or hard but just touching and locking them up?
  14. I had the glass as standard but they were a bit tired and misty. I had them resealed and painted by gzaerojon. You could always do the same? Best of both worlds. Looks a bit like facelift and with the glass lense.

    ABS problem!!

I dont know how thats possible. By design ABS limits the force applied to the brakes to stop locking up. I dont know how it could make it lock up with barely any pressure?
  16. I found that a plastic funnel with a tapered end worked perfectly.

    Gaming Rig Prices

if its gaming your going for quad core might be overkill at the moment as games bareley support dual core. I would get an 8800 GTX though. I can run cod4 at max settings at 1920x1200 with only a dualcore 2.8 ghz amd 64 and a 8800 gtx.
  18. If you put a funnel in the radiator filler and fill it with water/coolant until it backs up the funnel. Then you can pinch and squeeze the rad hoses and hoses that go to the turbos and squeeze all the bubbles out. its amazing how much air is in there sometimes after you think its full. Also make sure the header tank is full. The theory behind that is that as the coolant chills and contracts it is sucked out of the tank and into the system.
  19. I would say its a GT/luxary sports car. The ride is too firm to be a pure touring car.

  22. It helps if you run the AC and have the temp set up. It wont cool but it does dry the air out which makes demisting much faster. It maybe you have a leak somewhere.
