  1. I think he is usually short when he stands next to most people.
  2. no the uk ones I have only have a pair of brake lights the other pair of reds are fog lights. on the jap ones both pairs are brakes and no fogs at all.
  3. I belive some cars wont select gears when the clutch is broken. I know thats the case with some hydraulic ones.
  4. I belive the lights are in a different order. Most supras I see have the brake lights together in the middle while my one has the brake and reversing light in the middle.
  5. I would like another option: Try to eat right and goto the gym but usually end up at mc donalds.

    Bloke question

If they are sitting down then they also have the added issue of heat transfer to the toilet seat which as we all know is usually a bit chilly.

  9. You would struggle to find a manual for that money. When I was looking for a supra it HAD to be a uk one for insurance reasons and I was quite disapointed when I discovered how rare and expensive UK manuals were. I very nearly didnt get a supra. I decided to go out and test drive an auto and I found the whole experiance very good. I would say try an auto at least before you give in. Now if I had the choice I would prefer the auto.
  10. For average normal home use I would get a belkin. They are solid and have a lifetime warrenty. Not always the best features or prices though.
  11. In my opinion its the worst game of the series. The cars drive like boats and there is no consistency. The 140 hp s14 will keep up with 900 hp cars. One of the main features of the recent nfs series which made them fun was the street element and police chases. Now its like most other race games, only worse.
  12. If its not a blown fuse its something a little more serious, relay, faulty switch, bad wire etc. Your best best is to get a multimeter and try to determin where the fault lies. Or get a auto electrician to do it for you.
  13. Engine: 1331cc Cylinders: 4 DOHC Power: 135 PS @ 6,400 Weight: 860 kg 0-60 mph: 6.9 sec 1.3 litre turbo engine, electric windows, air con, power steering, electric folding mirrors, alloy wheels, central locking. I think 135ps is about 133 hp, easily increased like most turbo cars.
  14. Mine has a spade fuse for every bulb in the fuse box in the engine bay, if you cant see it on the label just go through it and check every fuse to see if one/both are blown. Dont put a higher rated fuse in as there maybe a reason why theyre blowing and you wouldnt want to damage something.
  15. there are fuses for each individual bulb in the engine. At least there are for mine. Odd that both should go though?
  16. I tried to argue that point. I am the sole driver and I can only be in one car or the other and will only do the same total mileage. Just with the focus some of its in a group 7 car and not the supra. Still ended up costing more. There is also a increased risk of theft, fire vandals or hit and run etc as you will have 2 cars parked up instead of 1.
  17. mine does it for hours. Really freaked me out when I was wiring up my amp. I had the battery disconnected and I could still hear this ticking and buzzing sound.
  18. Supras arent really sleeper cars but as it doesnt have an outrageous/obvious bodykit it looks stock... until you see it move.

    Winter tyres

Yes I have the T1-R's on at the moment but just wondered if anyone here bothered with winter tyres. I guess our winters arent too bad but they are very wet.
  20. There has to be a 30 day consultation period if there are to be 20-29 redundancys or 90 days if there are more then 100 going. This is the time from being told you are at risk to when you leave. If it can be shown you didnt have the minimum consoltation period you can claim at a tribunial and be awared some extra pay. Legaly you have to be payed your notice period even if you dont actually work it. You should also get some pay depending on your length of service. Currently it is 0.5 weeks pay per year for those under 22. 1 weeks pay per year for 22-40 and 1.5 weeks of pay for those over 40. A weeks pay is capped at a maximum of £310. This is the statatory minimum. Most employers would honour your usual weekly pay or something. You should also get any outstanding holiday pay or you will have to pay them if you have taken more then your pro rata share. Your notice period and holiday pay are all taxed as normal but your redundancy money should be tax free. Anything over 30k is taxed.

I am told they come in to thier own below 5 degrees. Does anyone here use them or do you all just stick to the all seasons/summer performance tyres?
