  1. Reminds me of the southpark episode with wallmart.
  2. Could have been me, I am in t.wells most nights.
  3. Yeah and its not fair. Imagine if us guys could get 5+ each time... actually thinking about it I dont think i'd ever leave the house if that were the case.
  4. I think something very important has been omitted from the above list. Women can have multiple orgasms.
  5. I hope you get it all sorted out and in time for the summer.
  6. I think 10-50 is a bit thick unless you are very modified or doing long track days in the summer. Isnt the Toyota reccomended oil 10-30?
  7. Mine used to squeek when cold but were ok when warmed up. Just driving gently without brakes for a few miles would be enough for them to cool and start squeeking again. Since I fitted the cw pads there has been no squeeling at all.

    Oil change

I just did my oil today, only used 4.5 litres though and that bought it up to the top of the dipstick.
  9. I remeber reading about a group of bikers who were tying to get the type of grit used changed back to the older type. Appariantly a few of them have come of thier bikes becuase of it.
  10. I never knew an exhaust could be that restrictive. With both cats in and a stock exhaust I can get to just over 1 bar with only about 40% duty on the boost controller.
  11. I re-read the original post and realised it was on a bend. I think my mind must have originaly omitted that fact as it is such a stupid thing to do; I cant see why somone would risk a head on for the sake of getting past a lorry. In a way its lucky they just ended up off the road and not in the front of a 4x4 or something.
  12. That’s fair enough. No one should ever overtake in a circumstance where there is not enough visibility/space. Despite what was posted above for some reason I had it in my mind it was a straight bit of road...
  13. So none of you have ever overtaken another car?
  14. You are right its not a good idea but the method behind the obvious madness was that the car is been driven anyway and its got to be worth a look after a drive. my car has both cats and on occation i have upped the boost to just under 1 bar. I have not had any problems yet but then i dont tend to push my car for long, just the odd short burts of acceleration.
  15. might be overlooking something here but as steel/iron approaches 900-1000 degrees it is usually glowing quite noticibly. Maybe take it for an extended burn and pull over quickly and look for a glowing manifold?
  16. I noticed this with the intercooler pipes. A fine coating of oil on all interior surfaces. My focus tdci has loaaaads of oil in the intercooler pipes. maybe 3 times more then the supra even though its done 1/3 of the miles the supra has. As long as it is only a fine mist or a bit of a coat I dont think there is much to worry about.

    cream seats

I just used a fairly stiff nail brush. You dont want anything too hard or it may damage the leather.

    cream seats

When I did my seats I used a vacuum to get rid of any loose dirt and the used loads of the leather cleaner and a stiff brush to get the grime out of the fine creases in the leather. I kept wiping the seats clean with towels and then re-scrubbing. The dirt does come away eventually.
  19. damn honda drivers. And why did the car do a barrel roll in the air? Did I miss the ramp or explosion?
  20. I think people are being a bit hard on him. Even if the accident was the result of pratting about its not like he intended to do it. It was an honest mistake. I dont think there are many owners who dont push thier cars every now and again. One thing this event does highlight is that there is a time and a place for everything and its not on a cold damp road just before a roundabout.
  21. Have you both had henesey paradise or Delamain vintage Cognac? How does it compare to other well known brands? I'd like to get an idea before I splash out on my next bottle. I quite like the Hine Antique. I would love to try the talent but at 4500 euros a bottle I doubt thats going to happen. http://www.hine.cognatheque.com/hine_boutique_en.php?langue=2
  22. Does anyone on here drink much cognac? Brandy has always been my favourite spirit but I used to think people who spent £80+ on a bottle of booze obviously had more money then sense. A simple VSOP was enough for me. This was until I ordered some Remy Martin XO at a restaurant and it was served heated. It wasn’t so much a drink as an experience. I am looking to get a bottle of something finer and wondered if there were any experienced connoisseurs on here with some recommendations?
  23. Thats about 19 mpg assuming 100p per litre. Not great but not too low either. I usualy get 20 mpg on my drive to work which has an average speed of 27mph and looooaaads of stop start traffic.

    bit stunned

to be fair its a very low spec supra, with body damage, damaged wheels, knocking suspention and high mileage. Also has short tax and mot. Most cars arent worth much in that state even when theyre only 5 years old let alone 15.
