  1. Might be cheaper to have a new complete engine fitted and then you can sell parts off your old one engine. Do you know why there is a hole in the block?
  2. Maybe he wants to visit Kota Kinabalu?

    Insurance question

Make sure they have the engine size as 2997cc (MK4) and not 2954cc (MK3)
  4. Any ideas on the best method to cap the hoses though?

    Insurance Question

I would want something in writing from them which states they are aware its a auto NA import and not a UK car. To be honest I think you will find that a UK car, albeit a turbo is cheaper to insure any an import. Even if its an NA

    People carriers

I am surprised no one has mentioned the toyota estima. Not too many petrols about mind but you should find many well under £2500.

    Fuzy monitor

Check you are running the native resolution of the monitor. Also maybe try a different VGA lead or better yet get it onto a DVI one... if it isn't already?
  8. So it work work perfectly with no adverse effects if I were to remove the stock dump valve and block all the pipes there?
  9. The belt isn't expensive and isn't hard to change. If in doubt i'd change it, just make sure its seated on all the pulleys correctly.
  10. The focal length varies. If you click on more information to the right of the photo you can see the iso, shutter speed, f stop and focal length etc None of those pics have had any post processing, just resized and dropped the quality for the web.
  11. Sigma 150-500 HSM OS DG, Odd that you say theres vignetting as its a full frame lens on an APS-C sized sensor.
  12. The new canon 450d can manage 3.5 frames a second continuous and there is no noticale shutter lag. Shots are instant. Have a look at some of the photos I took at biggin hill this weekend. Capturing jets on a low flyby just wouldnt be possible with a compact or bridge camera. http://picasaweb.google.com/GrandDaddyRob/
  13. Here are a couple of photos after a wash n wax.
  14. (year bought) - 2007 (reg year) - 1994 (model) - UK model Auto (mods:none/some/lots) - None (condition poor/good/great) - Good, engine rebuild (uk/import) - UK (colour) - Storm Blue Metalic (price) - 5995 (mileage) 152k
  15. Thats horrible. I know just how painful ear infections can be. I have had way more then I can count so far, easily 20+. I have had a perforated ear drum a few times too. Not nice waking up to find pus and blood coming out your ear, although from the sounds of it I got off lightly with just a dose of tinitus. I hope this op sorts it once and for all.
  16. Sorry to hear you are having to have another op. If you dont mind me asking, what is wrong and why does it require an operation to correct?
  17. They are named after thier inventor. Felix Wankel.
  18. I am the same as you guys, I have always wanted a supra and I plan to keep running one as long as I can. I was just saying most of the people I know with larger engined cars always tend to have new BMW's or mercs etc.
  19. Orbital ones rotate and wobble.. a bit like the moon oribiting the earth which orbits the sun. The idea is that you wont get round swirls.

Mine isnt very good. Goober pottybrains
  21. It's true, the kind of person who can insure and run a supra is likely to buy something a bit more modern.

  23. robin

They will have my focus for £2,985 which isnt bad considering I bought it for £2995 6 months ago.
