Odd, mine work fine on the normal bulb connectors without a harness and fire up pretty much straight away. Never needed to uprate any fuses either.

I have never been unfortunate enough to have the supra slagged off. I have however had people shout w***er at me while I pottle along in traffic. I know its not because of a loud exhaust or outrageoud mods as my car is standard so I put it down to a case of envy or a bad run in with a supra/owner in the past.

If you do actually need a new power steering pump and rack end they are both quite expensive.

Just make sure the car is level and if oil is flowing out the filler plug wait until it stops before refitting the plug or you may overfill it.

I dont think its OK whoever does it. Man or woman. I think what is most disturbing about it is how it is done so publicly; It is one thing to find a quiet patch in the woods and have a slash. Totally another to let loose in a carpark or the highstreet.

I dont think mileage is an issue at all. Buy on condition and service history. Many imports wont be showing the correct mileage anyway. Mine has just rolled past 170k still going strong. Managed nearly 18k fault free miles last year alone.

As long as there are cars on the roads people will make parts for them. for instance I know people who have no trouble finding parts for late 60's early 70's triumphs etc

The good thing with IT is that you cant beat on site support. Remote working and call centres can be done but I have yet to meet somone who prefers to call a helpdesk then walk round and have a chat.

I bought a car unseen once via an agent. The hastle of going to view the car when it's in another country is just too much sometimes.
