  1. That would be my preference, especially from a resale point of view. I don't ever think I've seen a N/A-T fetch good money. It's your car, but I would be thinking of future valve before I undertook a serious modification like that on a clean OEM car like yours.
  2. Or a can of coke over the back wheel. They were the days.
  3. Logical step if you already have the V161 is to put a TT engine in there, will cost less than going N/A-T, and you will have less headaches. To the OP, if you are already craving more power, then perhaps an N/A isn't for you? Plenty of TT auto's going for 3-4k nowadays.
  4. Looking good. Ever thought about getting rid of the front orange blobs, and having the indicators integrated into the headlights? Same as Mr Lovers car. I'm sure somebody could Photoshop them out to see what it looks like on a black car.
  5. Are we still talking about the same ring and exhaust here? Best of luck with the proposal OP.
  6. http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-practice-days/ Keep an eye on drift works, there are plenty of events/days in England, relatively speaking you guys are spoilt for choice.
  7. Give it a go. Source some cheap alloys and get down to any local garage/tyre fitter and ask them for a look at their scrap tyres. There are usually loads of tyres perfectly good for drifting, you will be amazed at what they send away for recycling. You are doing them a favour by taking the tyres away for free, as I believe they are charged around £1 to dispose of each tyre. Now you have loads of free tyres to burn through, so you only have to pay for the price of the day. I would definitely recommend giving it a go. You will also learn so much about the handling and limits of your car.

    New car

Really nice torque curve, you must be very pleased. Excellent results from minimal modifications.

    Htc one x

Seems a pretty good deal, for such a new phone: Linky Free HTC One X in Black 300mins 3000texts 500MB £36 a month, but crucially a 12 month contract. Due an upgrade now, so might just see if my current provider will match this.
  10. If you pronounce it Ma-Talen, it sounds a lot more exotic.
  11. http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/forumdisplay.php?59-ICE-Gallery&s=&pp=25&daysprune=-1&sort=lastpost&order=desc Fill your boots.
  12. Are you looking to get some track time this year? Good idea with the dash dodger cage, saves butchering the dash board.
  13. Here you go just saved you £24k and two years extra saving. Everything you wanted, I believe.
  14. Not really, I've seen plenty of tatty TT autos sell on ebay for 3k or just over.
  15. I've seen this in real life, and it is quite offensive to the eye.
  16. Tannhauser? Was nice to read some post that were worth reading.
  17. It is a shame, but you can't help laughing. It reminds me of the BBC program about Tourette's, of which there is a four minute video on Youtube of the best bits. There are some hilarious bits in it, and the people in the program accept it all in good humour. I'd put up a link but it contains some swearing, so not really appropriate for OT. NWS warning: couple of swear words. Click here to take you to the NWS thread with this video. Did I mention it's NWS. Think I've covered my back on this one.
  18. UK specs had both headlight adjustment and washer jets.
  19. http://pistonheads.co.uk/sales/3837808.htm Here you go, clearly been used for drifting, but a good project.
  20. Looks like three Barrs to me. Need to watch out with those monster turbo's, I hear they can make the back end let go quite easily.
  21. God speed on the return leg.
