As Alex & hiten55 has said, you can unlock the Iphone. I rang O2 and you can unlock the iphone yourself from the O2 website. It is free but does apparently take up to 14 days before it is unlocked.

Yes, I have been told this is possible for about £15-£20. Sure this shouldn't detract from buying this phone considering how easy it can be unlocked.

I am going to upgrade my iPhone 3gs 16gig very soon. I'm looking to sell it for £240. It has always had a screen protector so the screen is unmarked. The reverse has always had a hard cover so is unmarked. There are some light marks around the edge from being in a pocket etc but only minor marks. The phone is 7 months old, bought 15 November 2009. The company i work for is quite flexible on work hours to some extent. My working hours are generally 8.30-5.00 but I could come in early & finish early or start late & finish late or even make up during lunch break. Providing you dont take the mick, it works well. Carl

I find it difficult to decide what is a fair offer for these turbos. given that theres no real way of knowing if they are in good working order or not untill they are fitted. I could be buying two good turbo's or else I could be buying to lumps of metal that need rebuilding anyway. Taking that into account I will make an offer of £250. carl

I assume the GZ/RZ are the turbo options and your insurance company does not insure imports hence why they will only insure the UK spec. As far as J-spec imports are concerned, they are the same BHP as the UK spec despite what you may of heard.

As has be mentioned, can you indicate what sort of price you will be looking at? I can only assume these are in good working order with good seals. Cant imagine anything worse than buying second hand turbo's only to find they smoke like the ones you removed. I guess without certainty on the turbo's condition the price must reflect that.. Carl

This is a little off topic. My 2002 plate 3 series BMW aircon has stopped working. This is because the air con pusher fan (elctric fan at front of engine) is faulty. these fan/cowling cost £200-250 depending where you buy from. My question is, can a normal elctric fan like the ones used for cooling your radiator etc be used instead as these can be bought for as little as £30 brand new. Is there something special about the BMW front fan that dictates the high price? Carl

just had the same thing happen to me whilst undoing the head bolt. I ended up having to drill the bolt head off as everything else i tried failed. To be honest, drilling the head of the bolt was easy in the end. I used a 13mm drill bit which run nice and slowly took the bolt head of in minutes. Using one of the other removed bolts i could mark on the drill bit roughly how deep I need to drill in order to remove the head completely. This was only so I could go a bit more carefully towards the end. Soon as you drill deep enough the bolt head just spins on the drill so you know your done. As far as i can see,, no damage to the ally head at all as the bolt head should spin before you go deep enough to actually touch the engine head itself. One word of warning, buy yourself a 'Carbide 13mm Drill bit'. Anything else will just get hot and not touch the bolt. The drillbit I used cost £8 from a local company. Good luck. Carl

As has been asked already, what mods would be needed to get these running. I have J-spec so assume UK injectors for a starters but what else is needed to get these running safely? Carl

yeah, had a feeling it might be a tad heavy plus I still have the exhaust side attached with the turbos to increase the weight further. Think Ill call in some help to lift.
