  4. lol, Not to hijack the thread, but I have also just bought a Silver TT and for the last week I have been glued to the site. I keep telling myself I need an early night tonight but end up reading the many threads and staying on way too late into the twilight hours.. Anyway, a big hello from me too. Ill say the official hello;s as soon as I pick my car up at the weekend. Carl
  5. I have one of the older Blitz SBC i-D controllers. I also have the power meter to go with it. I assume from what has been said that I should be able to wire both up to the Supra.. Carl

  8. Hi ross, I havnt purchased anything as yet. Want to test drive a few first. The Supra turbo is at Gloucester Car Specialist in Bristol Road. Im going for a test drive on Saturday. You dont by any chance own the grey Supra that I keep passing by near Springbank in Cheltenham? Carl
  9. Whoops, double posting, dont know how to remove .... Carl
  10. mines on 125k miles> So what sort of problems or not have you had with yours if you dont mind me asking? Carl
  11. When you are on a budget, high mileage often comes into the equation. I have seen several Supra Turbo for sale at quite low price. One such car is at a garage in Gloucester and is in emmaculate condition inside and out. It is totaly standard and untouch but does have 100k on the clock, just turned. I know that big engines are probably good for well over double that with serviceing but what is the general concensus on higher mileage cars. How many on this forum have Supra Turbos over the 100k mark? Cheers Carl

    Supra Info

Thanks guys for the replies. I,m used to paying out for car maintenance as I have a Rover Coupe Turbo at the moment. I have spent over 15k on modifying the engine etc to 400bhp. After a recent mechanical failure, I have decided to call it a day and buy something of similar power but more reliable with a stronger engine etc. The Supra seems to answer all those criteria. I dont know if I ever want to go as far a s I have with my Rover but Never say Never I guess. However, Im sure a few tweeks to get it up around 400-450bhp would be needed fairly soon. Ideally, I want to buy a standard unmodified Supra Turbo with good service history, most probably an auto as this would seem to be the best option on my budget. Im sure Im going to be posting much more as soon as I make that purchase which will hopefully be in the next few months, maaybe earlier. Cheers Carl

    Supra Info

Hello, I am new to this site and I dont actually own a Supra yet but will be looking to buy one very shortly pending further information on them. That is the main reason I have joined at this time. I have been reading some of the pdf's of this site which help a great deal. I will only be able to spend arouns £8,000-£8,500 on the Supra and would want the twin turbo model. I have noticed that there are various models and what I would like to know, without sounding like a boyracer, is performance data on the different variants, eg, 0-60, bhp etc. I imagine this info is already tucked away on this site somewhere. If someone could point me in the right direction I would be very gratefull. Cheers in advance, Carl
