  1. I have a Blitz power meter and as far as Im aware you need to wire into the Pink speed signal wire from the ecu. Is this the same pink wire that you wire the fuel cut device up to?
  2. good luck, I couldnt give mine away...
  3. If its not a single conversion then it seems a bit expensive for an import with that sort of mileage no matter what condition it is.
  4. I need to wire in a fuel cut device so need to get at the ECU. I have been told its in the passenger footwell so I took a quick look the other day. I undone the bolts and lifted the plastic protection tray and under that lies two units. Im assuming that the larger unit on the right is the ecu. Can someone clarify this?
  5. I am after the second decat. I have a 3" first decat in place so I gather a 3" second would be best although I doubt it will make too much difference on BPU as long as you can bolt a 3" decat to a 2.5" decat. Perhaps someone could clarify this. Carl
  6. cheers guys, im looking for iridium as I dont want to change them every 5 months. I have given Paul a mail.
  7. Does anyone/traders have a set of sparkplugs for BPU. If so, can I have a price please. carl

    O2 Sensor

Yeah, sounds like it. i gather now the cats not there its surplus to requirements. I gather the O2 sensor is on the manifold or downpipe somewhere.

    O2 Sensor

So what is the sensor in the first decat? Is it some temp sensor?. Question still applies, is it needed now?

    O2 Sensor

I have put my 1st decat pipe in place. It did not have anywhere to fit the O2 sensor. I can get one welded in but is it needed now or not? Will there be any problems with fueling etc if I leave it disconnected?
  11. One closest to the engine as far a I'm aware.
  12. Are Thor selling these units again? They stopped making them for ages.
  13. Whilst we are talking about these. Often when I am sat at the traffic lights with foot on brake (autobox), my rev counter keeps flicking up and down by its self. Could this be a problem with the speedo converter? Carl
  14. I have PowerDVD. I think 9 is the latest. apart from being able to play HD DVD & Blu ray it also allows you to rip a copy to your hard drive. Basically, you rip a copy as an ISO file. Beauty is this is one single file. You then install daemon tools which is a free download virtual drive which sits discreetly in your bottom tray. When ever you want to play your Blu-Ray, just double click on your ISO file and it will automatically open up on your Power DVD player and will look as if you had the original Blu-Ray disc in, eg all the menus, sound & functions in tact.
  15. My first decat is coming off tommorrow. You would be welcome to borrow it although I'd need it returned for my own MOT. Im Gloucester based just of the A417-Shurdington Road Roundabout.
  16. I stand corrected... I did a search on here to see if anyone had reviewed it and nothing came up strangely. Maybe I mis-typed. Anyway, glad its not the last one as I do enjoy them.
  17. New model , Original parts.... I kinda have a fondness for the movies despite there corny nature. Might be the scantily clad women, might be the tarted up cars. Either way I have always found them to be fun to watch long as you dont take it too seriously. So my expectations were not high for the new movie. The first 20 minutes of the film started out similar to the previous three, a bit of OTT action, some skinny asian women & a few very over painted cars. Suprisingly from there it actually picked up to what I felt was a pretty reasonable plot. Now I'm not saying its original or going to win any oscars but comparing it to the previous films I felt it was a much more machure and certainly a more coherent storyline. The film has moved away from the street racing scene and concentrated on the plot which had a more gritty feel to it. Without ruining the storyline I can only say that I left actually wanting more of this. It's a shame they have left it to the final film to produce the most balanced plot of the four. If you are a fan or even if you are a little sceptical after seeing the last three then go see it anyway. It's actually pretty good entertainment.
  18. I wonder how many engines have ever really been saved because of a gauge? Call me cynical but in the heat of the moment and the split second that detonation occurs the gauge probably won’t be noticed until it’s too late. Probably better off getting the car properly rolling roaded and having the fuelling checked then.
  19. Hi are they front or rear or both? Carl
  20. I only attended the University of Life....get a job you lazy lot....
  21. Thats the one, Cheers. What colour is the map sensor wire wire?
  22. I have tried to find the wiring diagram for the Thor fuel cut device. I have searched the threads and found the setup of the actual TRL VFCC device but the wiring diagrams seem to have been removed. Can somebody clarify for me what wire connects were. i gather red to a power source, is the constant or ignition? Black assumably to some earth point? Blue to ECU Yellow/Black wire? Green....not sure on this one. If someone could clarify all these id be gratefull. Carl
