  1. Not sure what other info you require but more precisely:- Canon EF-S 17-85mm F4-5.6 IS USM ( both image stabilizer & ultrasonic motors) Canon EF 75-300mm F4-5.6 (version 3) with Ultrasonic motors. I also have a HOYA UV filter attached to this one. Both lenses are mark free, a couple of dust particals but nothing that effects picture quality. No scratches or marks on either lense. I have the box & receipt for the 17-85 which was nearly £500 last Christmas. If you need anything more specific or pictures taken with either lense I am happy to forward some examples. Carl
  2. I have a few items for sale. Canon EFS 17-85mm lense - £220 Canon EF 75-300mm lense - £130 'Giant' Mountain bike-gents, used only a few times, like new. £100

  4. I have two mountain bikes for sale. I bought them locally from Royland cycles in Cheltenham about 4 years ago. They have been used only a handfull of times and have been garaged the whole time. They are basically new bikes still. they are both 'Giant' bikes. One is a male frame & the other a drop frame for the women. Blokes frame is in silver & womens in black. Both have full shimano setup and adjustable seats etc. Both have front suspension & aluminium frames. They cost about £550-£600 for the pair when I bought them. £200 pair-NC Ideal bargain for a couple thinking of doing a bit of riding this summer. Ill even throw in two cycle helmets if i can find where I stashed them.
  5. I have fitted my Blitz power meter & boost controller next to each other. Both are wired up and come on with ignition. As yet i have not plumbed in the boost control unit under the bonnet so I only have the visual of the units switching on. My question is, should the power meter still work independantly of the boost control (SBC-Id) or will it not work untill I plumb in the boost control. I just thought that given the power meter is wired off the pink speed signal wire that it would be taking its own reading and showing some display movement. I get nothing other than static figures. Can someone clarify if this is the case or whether it means my wiring is wrong somewhere? Cheers Carl

    Vegas Holiday

I have just returned from my holiday in Las Vegas (where I also got married) and stayed at the Luxor Hotel. I think the pyramid looks its best at night lit up with its bright light that apparently can be seen from space. Its even reported that the light is bright enough to read your newspaper from space by..
  9. I agree, Santa Pod always seems to be a slower strip. I always saw better times from the Shakespear county Dragstrip in 1/4 mile & terminal speeds.
  10. Will this fit directly to my 3" first decat?
  11. I never realised any mobile phone could be so expensive. Some people must have too much money....
  12. So to clarify, is it ok to wire both to the pink wire? and, I still have not wired either up yet, been too lazy. Must do it next weekend.

    ArmA 2 PC

I have been waiting for Operation Flashpoint 2 to come out but in the mean time ArmA 2 is due this month. I hear its gonna need some big PC specs to run on anything over 1200 res. Anyone else looking forward to this or thinking maybe not?
  14. It seems strange to me that you are having issues with your 8800gt card for running 1080p. My media centre setup contains a 2gig dual core processor, 2 gig ram & a 8600gts graphics card. I run bluray & HDDVD though my 46" plasma at full 1080P and have no issues at all. Unless you have a problem with either your card or software on your pc then I dont see why you need to upgrade it as it should be more than adequate for a media centre setup. Carl
  15. Oh my Kev, Surely my eyes decieve me, I thought I saw a rusty bracket in picture 1...:faint:
  16. What diameter were they?, you have not said...
  17. Just changed my front pads yesterday. Cost £86 for front pads including shims from Toyota. Took me about 1.5 hours to do both in the rain. Very straight forward job and worth every penny. I cant get over how much better they feel.
  18. Are they 2.5 or 3" and will you split?
  19. Cheers guys, I thought it probably was but wanted to double check before I get the wheels off. Carl
  20. I will be replaceing my front UK brake pads tommorrow and I have the shims as well. There are two parts to the shims, one black shim that looks like a grill and another larger silver shim. Can someone clarify which one goes where, eg which way round etc. as I cant find any pictures or threads explaining.
  21. I wanted to order some front brake pads for my 1996 TT. I have the UK spec brakes so when I rang Toyota I said brake pads for 1996 UK Spec. They said there was three options but they were only from 1993-1995. The latter option for the TT was priced at £61.95 + VAT. Can anyone clarify if these pads are correct as I thought all UK spec pads were the same. The price seemed quite good. Carl
  22. Does not seem as attractive if you have to give them an engine back. Oh well, nothing gained, nothing lost. ps- your car looks great Kev, would love to go out in it some time even though I know ill want to go single if I do.....
  23. Saw this on Ebay. Not sure how reputable the company is but it sounds interesting. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-2JZGTE-TWIN-TURBO-92-97-ENGINE_W0QQitemZ260349324897QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item260349324897&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A2%7C240%3A1308%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A24
  24. I have removed the first cat only and do not have any restrictor ring in place. I have not seen any boost higher than 1bar & certainly not had fuel cut yet so all seems well. I gather the second cat is acting as my restrictor untill I remove it.
