  1. Lol apologies for me not reading the rest of the thread first mate. So its the whole kit going on. I know its controversial putting the vielside wing on but your thinkings probably right in that you'll need a decent sized wing to offset the aggressiveness of the kit. Should look V aggressive when done. Nice!
  2. Bloody hell 12 stones of weight gain, watch out you'll get stretch marks :d Seriously though sounds like you've got some better advice now mate. You definately make gains in muscle size if you give the muscles time to recover before hitting them with another session.
  3. Not had rubbish dumped in and around it, but they certainly didn't hold back on the jealousy front when the wee shites used a brick/rock on mine. Christ knows what I'd have done to them if I'd caught them. Needless to say the police did absolutely sweet Foxtrot Alpha to catch them. Even if they had they'd have been too young for them to do anything about. Would have just made it even more of a target once it had been fixed! To sum up and in reply, nope the youth have absolutely no respect for the Supra or any other car these days.
  4. Its looking really good mate! Are you sticking with the stock rear and having it and your existing rear overs blended into the new arch/skirt sections? I think that's they way I'd be going. Really nice, can't wait to see more progress pics! Dave
  5. I heard about this on the radio earlier too. I think as long as they stick to the type of production they went for with No. 3 they should be fine. It'd be nice to see Vin Diesel back in a Sup, a nice big power single. ...ohh and its a big yes for more babes with big breestacles!
  6. Thats really nice mate! yours is one of the few stock blue Soops I've seen. Liking the wheels

    why ???

Such a waste of a beautiful and quite rare coloured car!
  8. I'm actually really liking that splitter on your car Steve. Not as deep looking as going for a full kit which is good for me with the speed bumps here. Looks to be the same one as in the pic. I think as long as I did it really sparingly then some carbon could look pretty good! Sorry for coming across as stupid or niave (been called both many a time) but i assume you work/drive for Whifbitz? It looks like one hell of a car you've got there.
  9. Haha i threw the carbon light covers in as a talking point, how many people would shoot me down for that suggestion Seriously though If Jon's done as good a job as I've seen from him on others cars I'll be one happy man and not want to hide them with silly covers. I guess that answers your other question too. Not got them back yet, but hopefully will towards the end of next week. I'll get pics up for you as soon as possible. I remember you talking about getting yours done.

    1000 posts

Congrats mate! Here's to the next 1000, you've made me think I need to check how many I've got.
  11. Got any pics of the exception? The prelude I saw it on was a dark one so thats maybe why I liked it. Looks good on the black car I think! Haha have to start thinking about Christmas presents instead of Supra parts so It'll be on the back burner for a while!
  12. Bugger now you've got me started down the slippery slope. Just been using Need for Speed Carbon on my PS2 to picture what my green car might look like with a carbon lip and a few other bits of kit. I'm liking the front lips and might go for the riddox (replica) skirts and spats. Then I noticed the OEM shape carbon hood, wondering if that would look nice or a bit OTT? haha and the carbon light brows to go over my newly refurbed lights from Jon. Do siebon sell the lip that they show in this pic?
  13. Ahh it must be a copy in Carbon then. Saw it on fleabay!
  14. Since buying the Supra I've said I was gonna keep it stock and do just subtle mods, wheels/exhaust/lights and anything that needed tidying up. Driving through Aberdeen yesterday and I saw a last mk Prelude sporting a really nice carbon kit. The car was a dark metallic wine colour and the carbon was left as-is. Its looked really nice and very subtle. It looked as if it was just a simple moulding as an add on lip not like the riddox kits. Just wondering if anyone has seen anything similar for the Supra I know you can get the Bomex lip in Carbon but have never seen a full kit. Cheers Dave
  15. Haha Brilliant solution Like you say Hide them whene.......always when not in use!
  16. Hiya Mate, I don't have a UK one to sell you, just wanted to ask you a question. Does your Jap square plate mount hold the whole plate firm or does it sit a little wobbly in the mount. The bottom edge of mine isn't really that supported and I'm just wondering if I should be looking for a new one or switching to UK style on the front. Cheers Dave
  17. Could always just put a call in to Westwood and get your whole motor 'pimped' at the same time. Seems they do the whole heated seats and electrics on most of those. Or is it West Coast Customs I'm thinking of? I'd love some slightly racier seats but as she's only an NA and I'm going for a stock look I just opted for a nice retrim. The electric movement is a cool little feature I wouldn't want to loose. Look forward to seeing if you can get it sorted.
  18. Mate did you get your headlights done? I remember you mentioned you were thinking about going for the facelift style black with the chrome rings? Mine are off to Jon for doing but I'd love to see them actually on a green car. Not that keen on the tint but it might look nice if it was a very light tint.
  19. Pitty its so Fugly! just my opinion yee understand.
  20. PLease Please Please post up the pics. Contrary to what some folks say i'm not a member
  21. That looks absolutely stunning! Could even get the girlfriends two 6' plus teenagers in the back(currently get moaned at for buyin a Supra)
  22. Hmm strange. Just realised I should actually have put this in the spirited drives section.....oops. Could a mod move it for me? Cheers Dave
  23. Treble? could be cause I signed in again after trying to post it the first time?
  24. I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but since I was in the Supra at the time I'm thinking its ok. Spent this past weekend doing a lot of driving. Over 600 miles in total. Arbroath to Caithness and back with a little tom foolery along the way. It sure as hell wasn't one of those amazing drives where there's no traffic and dry roads but it was certainly a lesson in patience and rearwheelology. Not all bad though there were a few miles where the heavens closed(stopped raining) and the stars aligned( things got out of the way). I took the coast road from my folks place in Peterhead up to Inverness. It was always a favourite in other cars but with the heavy rain and water lying at the sides it proved to be an excercise in control and caution. Hitting one of the puddles at fairly high speed and aqua planning into almost a drift scared the crap out of me. Previous to this most of my Supra driving has been in the dry. She's a totally different animal in the wet. Needless to say I took it a fair bit more carefully on the way up after that. The journey north was fairly boring with too many cars and not enough chances to get past safely. There were a couple of megalepton sections though. Loads of rain in Caithness pretty much hindered any 'fun' up there. The drive back down on Sunday was something the same although one section made up for the bad weather that dogged the trip. The section from Wick down through Helmsdale and onto Brora was outstanding. The rain stopped, the road was dry and the sun even popped out. Its a fantastic bit of road, possibly more suited to something subaruesque but it was brilliant fun. There are so many bends and sweeping curves where you really have to be concentrating to get the power down smoothly. I was practising breaking early into the bends then powering out as they opened up. Superb! I had been looking at some of the Nurbergring vids on here and if you squinted hard enough you'd almost think you were there. The weather and the road surface really helped set the scene. A great trip, just wish the roads had been dry and traffic free the whole way. Dave .....Ohh must mention the two caravaners who kindley moved out the way and indicated to let me past, the bikers who overtook me then were overtaken by me(lots of waves from both parties) and the Porsche boxter owners club who were also overtaken by me and needless to say didn't wave at all
  25. Exactly as stated in the title, Has anyone seen Jon on here recently? I know he's a busy man, just thinking about getting my lights done. Cheers Dave
