  1. Cheers Stevie, Yeah it is my car in my avatar. Must admit I'm pretty pleased with it and most folk in the know always tell me how rare it is to see one in green. I think its got the class of black but with enough colour and depth to really show the curves of the Sup. She's stock for the moment and i think she'll be staying that way till I can afford a nice kit a full respray and a full smoothing job done on her. Stock Rocks!
  2. Thats pretty impressive, hard to tell if he's just hyped up and going for it or if he's a trained boxer/martial artist. Certainly seems to know a little about what he's doing. Reminds me of a typical Friday night in Arbroath. Just a little warmer
  3. I'll give that a go. Doesn't sound too technical but I'll get someone to check the light for me. Cheers Dave
  4. I stupidly did the cd fitting without disconnecting the battery and now get the airbag light on constant, is there anyway to reset it?
  5. Need to take my name off the list for now please. I'm gonna wait till there's a chance to buy both the aerial and the bracket needed to fit it. Cheers Dave
  6. Very Marmite! Not keen on them myself, the TRD wing is smooth and will look superb with the Veilside spats, I think you'd need a really big meaty kit and spoiler to go with spats you've got at the moment.
  7. Well Mum and dad went out and bought a Fiesta 3 dr hatch back after all that. Looks like a nice wee car and I'm just glad that she's really happy with it. Must admit I'm looking forward to borrowing it too.
  8. I didn't realise Nissan were sharing the parts bins with Subaru, looks like the rear spoiler off of one of the latest model Impreza's??? Not a big fan of the styling personally Nismo tried hard with the kit but you can't polish a turd! Spend the same money and get a 350 instead.
  9. Certain colours definately suite the spoilerless look. I like both! Different strokes for different folks!
  10. Welcome Jenny! You seem like a nice lassy, hope you enjoy the site and find it really useful. I can assure you the Hovis pic is a tradition. Its a pre-requisite! Nice pic by the way, could do with a smile though! Dave
  11. Here's a better Vista question! Why is it so cack to use. My dad bought my mum a new Dell laptop running Vista and its been nothing but problems. Did they not test the system before launch?
  12. Hi, have you got the passenger A pillar handle and fitting clips/screws? Cheers Dave
  13. Thats a really old pic though, not saying its a nice looking thing, but was that not the one they did before they designed the kit everyone knows as the 'veilside kit' for the Supra? It takes a lot of proto-typing to get to a product that causes such a commotion in the motoring world. The kits a real love it or hate it one in my opinion. Dave

    Offshore tomoz

I feel for ya PAG Mate! Just away to start work as a Senior TA for CAN at the end of the month, so there's a chance I'll be going offshore a bit once trained up. Then in the grander scale of things may get to Inspection Engineer status. So is the money not as good as everyone makes it out to be? I know it must be daunting but i guess you've just got to look forward to when your back on shore again. Can't imagine havin all that time when your back to fiddle with the Sup!

    lol, 32k!!!!!

You beat me to it Dan, I'm loving these new Veilside 'Top Secret' kits. Pitty they're so common these days
  16. I suppose that is true, I've seen the chavved up corsa's with it done and thought puttin it on the Sup might make it look classy. Guess its a bit like the old Lambo doors if you roll over the emergency services can't get you out. I just fancied going down a different route to the usual big bodykit and rims.
  17. Seriously? not even if they are on poppers and I leave the boot lock(in the light cluster so can't be smoothed) Well thats one mod cancelled then Lol.
  18. Cheers H, Just seein what the mods would look like really. I really like Jons refurb ones like you've got on yours. Only fitted the abflugs cause the pic of JamieP's seemed to match Lol! when I do the lights they'll be ones like yours. Nice idea about the green rings, hmmm will keep that in mind!

    Photoshop!

Been sittin playin with photoshop for the past few hours. Just reminded myself what a great tool it is. Been playin about tryin to see what a few ideas I've had would look like on my car. Hopefully I can attach the pics correctly. Mods are as follows: Black Abflug headlight conversion Debadged Side repeaters shaved Door handle shaved Aerial shaved Skirt shut lines smoothed JamieP's wheels fitted rather badly Lol Windows tinted up I think the Stock/Stealth look suits it..........Opinions:sly:
  20. They're ok, but as stated before, if you like em thats all that matters. Everyone goes through phases of which rims suit their cars, if anyone has the Top Gear 100 fastest mag they'll have seen the speedline's on the Aston. I've been tryin to photoshop some of them on to my car with little luck. Bit rusty on it. I'm lovin their simple clean lines. I think five spokers with a deep lip really suit the Sup. But thats just me!
  21. Hmm didn't like the outside but I must say I'm lovin the seats on the pics you posted Gaz! Very Aston Martin with the stitching on the seats and the dash. V sexy!
  22. Cheers Miami, I think they were worth the wee bit extra I paid to get them done. Really ties the interior to the car and adds that extra wee bit of class. Got an email today from Dave Rowe from Vine place. Its good news he's apologised for taking so long and said he's been havin trouble gettin a panel that was in good nick so he's gonna go ahead and order me one. Out of interest what does everyone think? leave the dash standard or get it sprayed in a nice classy gloss black? Its goin into the bodyshop anyways. Right I'm off out for a Manual mode blast!
  23. Front end looks passable but the rear........hmm not for me I think some conversions work when they create something totally unique that you wouldn't recognise as another part from another car, but sticking those ends onto an already beautiful Supra spoils it in my opinion. Each to their own I guess
