  1. Sorry I don't know its history, but as said before its looking very sexyful indeed. Can I ask what rims those are? been thinking about something black with a nice deep dish and those are stunning!

    Gtr

My boss was talking about the GTR, and I'll agree that its an interesting bit of kit and there's plenty engineering in there for what your paying but it just doesn't make me go WOW in the same way an R34 did when I first saw one of those. He asked if I had a choice between the GTR and a Supra plus the change what would I go for..... Silly man... Silly question.... incidentally he then went on to say that he's considering buying a Porsche GT2, more money than sense.

    Stolen Supra

Sorry to hear this mate! I live in Arbroath and work in Aberdeen and my folks and brother are up in Peterhead so I cover a good bit of the road. If any of us see your car I'll get in touch. Thievin Scum!
  4. Sorry I can't help you on that one, I'm actually looking for a Jap style square plate holder for mine. Anyone help?
  5. Must admit I didn't think my wee 1 bedroom flat would do so well. Sure it's a nicely decorated place near the centre of Arbroath but I'm a bit overwhelmed. Gonna see what the solicitor says but if what you guys are saying is right then I'll be a happy chappy and the car will have some new bits. Cheers for the replies
  6. Cheers Alex, I'm hoping your right and like I say though I'll feel bad its a lot of money to me. thanks for the reply mate!
  7. No-one? I'll feel bad telling the first offer sorry but I've had a better offer(if i can do that legally) but it is a lot of cash! None of the Scottish members had the same sort of experiences?
  8. Sorry you had to suffer one of these attacks too mate. I was in my brothers Van with him when we had the same thing happen to us. He held me back at the time saying the same thing, that I'd be charged and they'd get away scot free. He changed his mind though the next day when washing it. Three shell shattered circles and three dents where they had hit and shattered. It was a brand new van at the time too. Total little shite bags!
  9. Is anyone in the know about selling properties as I think I've been really stupid and missed out on a pile of cash that I could use to mod the Sup. My flat went on the market for offers over £44000 on wednesday. Since then I've had about 6 viewings. The fourth ones seemed really keen as they'd like to convert it back to a shop for their business. They asked how much I'd be looking for to take it off the market, I said around £50000. They seemed ok with that and said they might get back in touch but they'd have to think about it. Seemed positive but I wasn't getting my hopes up. Then todays couple came along and didn't seem to like it that much, picked the faults then went away. They then came back and said they'd offer £50,000 subject to survey if I'd take it off the market. I thought to myself bloody hell thats good and it'll get me moving sharpish. Stupidly shook the guys hand on it and said yes. Three hours later the fourth couple came back and said they wanted to make an offer. I told them what had happened and that I wasn't sure where I stand on it. They offered £53,000 and said they'd put the offer in first thing on Monday morning. Where do i stand now? can I take the higher offer or do I have to uphold the first? I know in England I'd be ok to go with the second but how does it work in Scotland. Am I bound to my stupidity? Cheers Dave

    Lexus IS-F

I like it, are the flame thrower exhausts an optional extra?
  11. Hey Razza, just replaced mine with standard cheapy ones when I fitted my refurbed lights at the weekend. I was thinking about going for the LED ones or colour match ones to HID temps but since I don't have HID's yet Gonna save up for a while and replace all the bulbs along with a set of HIDs for dipped and fogs all at the same time. The lights are looking pretty smart though I must admit the black definately looks better on the green car. I'll post picks on Jon's page when I can get access to my folks computer(mines packed as I'm trying to sell my flat) Dave
  12. Welcome mate, You'll get used to the handling soon enough, just take it easy as mentioned, the smile never fades! Mines parked in the front carpark next to the bosses Z3 M and a new Audi TT and more than holds its own. Made me smile just parkin it. Enjoy!
  13. Yep no longer the beasty it was, pictures below to prove it:
  14. Had an absolutely crap day today, split up with the girlfriend and things just generally went from bad to worse. To top it off I had my first glimpse of the new shape imprezza. I've never been that much of a Subaru fan but at least the old one looked aggressive and purposeful. You may as well buy a focus instead of the new one. The shapes bad enough but why do they insist on putting out of date lexus style chrome rear lights on new cars. Looks really cheap and nasty in my opinion like they've just been bought out of max power. Opinions on the new Scooby?
  15. Thats lookin Sweet Ryan! Lovin the gloss black dash, can I suggest a new steering wheel and some new mats though? can see me purchasing a set of these from Paul soon. Or maybe the billet ones on group buy.
  16. You were right behind me as I was driving through Montrose in the fiesta. I think the plate was GLZ something. You were the third Supra I saw today between Aberdeen and Arbroath.
  17. She's pretty much stock so I've not really had to worry but I must say there were more 'sensible' purchases I could have made when I bought her. At the end of the day your not really gonna make any money on your purchase, just enjoy the Supra for what it is, pure unadulterated enjoyment. Its the same when buying parts, I'd say buy them cause you like them, they improve the car in your opinion and make driving it even more enjoyable for you.
  18. Naebidy? I guess they're not a member then. I'll leave a card in the window next time I see it
  19. I saw a Silver Sup in the library car park just off of Holburn street next to the Talisman building(was on my way there). Plate ended in TSS i think. Looked a nice carwith OEM skirts and (looked like) split rims and a top line roof spoiler. Hope it was someone from here!

    new bumper

That looks really good mate! Its not as common as some of the other fronts you see going about. I like the pre facelifts on a stock bumper like mine but it would look better on yours to stick them in the holes that are provided/go facelift with those and indicators/smooth out the holes and leave where they are. Good work though looks sweet!
  21. Good luck with the postal strike! Jon's got mine at the moment and I can't wait to get them back. From what I've seen he does a great job and you'll be well pleased. I've said it in another post but when I get mine back and fitted I'll post up some before and afters of them and pop them in my garage!
  22. Sweet Mary Mother of God........ Who the...... What the.......... Actually I just wanna know why? At least it shows the originator of a previous thread that it is possible to have a twin exit exhaust.
  23. Mmm lovin the models in the second post! Only thing I like about the first is the interior, but even then they could have tidied it up by adding a nicer wheel and putting a cover and gaitor on the handbrake. I fancy a red interior when I get my next Sup, it'll be a stock bodied black 6 speed bpu twin if I can find a decent one in a couple of years. Now that really would look nice!
  24. Sorry to hear about your dog mate. Doesn't make it any easier for you but I lost my cat when he was only two through kidney failure too. It is devastating but you'll always have your memories of the time you have had with her. Be strong and remember we're all here for you. Feel for you! Dave
