  1. Cheers for the offer mate, but I'll let someone else take advantage. If your struggling to get shot of them after(next month after the move) then I'd be interested.
  2. Yeah that is a good price, and it'd be a local collection for me. Why do all the good things come when I'm shelling out all my bloody cash on a house.
  3. Hey, I'm interested in the handle on the left A pillar and the screws and clips that go with it if you've got them. Could you PM me with a price. Cheers Dave
  4. Awwww..... Me either actually Renegade. I never get spotted but I do often see other Sups. Mostly when I'm in the Fiasco. There must be loads of Aberdeen owners wondering who the demented bloke in the wee black fiesta waving at them is.

Just a wee note, I wouldn't go using a Halfrauds one if its even a little breezey. I put mine on while my lights were away getting refurbed and the first windy day took the cover off it without my help. The cover was as tight as it would go and all corners adjusted equally. But still off it came and took some paint with it. Needless to say I wasn't happy, not big scratches but scratches all the same! Advice is just to park it in as sheltered a spot as you can. Minimise the damage if it did happen to get windy.
  6. Yup it was the BOSIET training I did and I can definately recommend the Petrofac. Good luck mate!
  7. Very cool Mike, that looks like a lot of fun. Your really gettin there with the polishing too. Looking good! Dave
  8. Cool glad that they are the right ones, they're the ones I've got, just waiting to get my lights back to fit the HIDS and these. Did anyone have problems with them not push fitting as far as the old bulbs?
  9. Very Nice! I've got a set (6000K) waiting to be fitted along with some 6 LED sidelight bulbs. Just wondering if anyone had issues with the fit of their LED sidelight bulbs. They do push-fit in like the standard ones but don't go in and 'engage' as far or as well as the standards due to the way they spread out towards the head. I'm gonna try them in and see but just wondered if anyone else had that same problem? Ohh... also was gonna ask about adjusting the alignment? I noticed a few people saying you have to to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. How do you do it?
  10. I do a little bit of offshore work through my job. Not so much on the rigs, but on survey vessels. I'm an Asst. Pipelines Engineer now but have worked in a couple different areas of the oil industry. My company paid for my survival training, but I know a few blokes who put themselves through it and it certainly helped them get offshore work. If you've got a transferable trade and have your survival ticket you should find it pretty easy.
  11. Haha! How did you find the advert? Damn it Burble you beat me to it!
  12. Where are the mods?.... Should it not be in the ICE Technical section? To help though, I think its a hard job getting the stock tweeters changed out, just disconnect then mount the new tweeters next to the mids. Better sound stage. Dave
  13. Yeah, I'm liking the grey one. That would be perfect for slinging my kayaks on the roof of. I used to be able to slide the river boat into the Supra before I fitted my new sub box. Now I'm having to get my bro to carry my boats in his van.
  14. Hmm its not my cup of tea, but there's no doubting there's been a hell of a lot of good work done on it. I remember seeing it in Banzai.
  15. Well finally worked out who I saw. It was GeoRigg. Spotted him again today and managed to get a chat this time. Nice to meet you mate, I look forward to the next Aberdeen meet and gettin to have a closer look at the car. Dave
  16. Now you know, please don't do what more and more people seem to be doing(non Supra drivers). Leaving them on whenever their lights are on, even if its not foggy. I know it sounds like a rant but its bloody annoying when folk do it. Enjoy your new found fogs........when its foggy Nice car by the way guys, loving your ICE setup, I've recently been bitten by the bug.
  17. Nah sorry Marc, I was meaning Hondaboy. Its a silver one I've noticed in the past week on Victoria road in Torry on my way through to Altens. I've yet to see yours.
  18. Maybe it is you I keep seeing? I actually saw another Sup this morning while going through Torry. For the first time in ages I was in mine. Just my luck it was parked up and no one was in it. Dave
  19. The wing is a bit marmite, but I'm lovin the rest of the car, the abflug front is pretty individual and I really like those rims.
  20. Yeah i think thats the same one that I've seen a couple times now. Did you see the guy drivin it? the bloke in the one I saw was older (than me) with grey hair. There seems to be plenty of Supra in Aberdeen!
  21. I'll need to get a looky at that Kieth. I've been thinking about going for the silent Hi power on my NA for a while now. Actually since the last Aberdeen meet where I was the only one with the 'silent' stock exhaust. Hows Eve's car getting on? she was talking about a new set of rims and a respray? Dave
  22. * BUMP* Nope? I guess there must be quite a few folk with Supra in the city that aren't members on here.
  23. I spotted you twice, well three times actually. First was along at Berryden retail park over Christmas time, then the last couple times were over the weekend just passed. I was in the Fiesta and waved the first time, second time I was in my dads Saab. Both times you were on the Peterhead to Aberdeen road. Hopefully your a member on here. For anyone else reading it looked like a fairly stock Jap Sup, not sure if TT as I wasn't going the same way. The guy had greyish hair. Dave
  24. Best bits are the side pipes, wheels and the paint job IMHO! If you were going to spend that sort of money I'd suggest going for a good kit you can get hold of then smoothing it into the body and adding the features like the side-exit pipes, then finish it really well with a really good paintjob. Thats what I'd do Dave
  25. Yup, both look like fantastic cars, and I'm another that would have considered one of yours Jurgen. In fact I was shown up by a bloke in a skyline today so may have to go TT as soon as I can afford it. I'll be looking at your site when it does come round to upgrade time!! Merry Christmas and keep up the good work mate!
