  1. I was going to say that! A modification of this is to bend the end of straight piece of coat hanger over on itself about 1" from the end and trap the wire in this, then tape it to the coat hanger. it will get through anything
  2. P.s. excuse the pointy finger but its pi*s poor pic quality The wire can be pulled through the grommet on the bulkhead just above and behind the air vent.
  3. No, you can take the top of the instrument cluster support off (4 screws) that has the hazzard warning light in (pic 62) Then take the gear surround trim off (pic 63) Finally the left side of the dash trim up to the speedo (pic 64). Its all dead easy and unclips, then connectors off and it all comes away. 10 Mins.
  4. On the bulkhead just behind the turbo. It passes through just where the air vent is next to the clock (o where it used to be!). Its to the right of the brake booster. Has lots of wires passing through and a single wire should easily be able to slip in. Edit: Where the finger is pointing!

    Supra flare

Found the clips the other day, but nothing in them. Thought about susbstituting a tube of smarties in there in case I break down..... No practical use but helps pass the time waiting for recovery!!

    It's party time!

Blimey Martin, you live just past the quarry! I know one of your neighbours (well they would be a neighbour but last I heard they didn't have planning permission for the bungalow they built). Thornbrarian myself Edit: Back on topic, sorry I can't make it guys. Early shift at work.... Bu*ger!
  7. I used to do oil carry over & blowby tests on development engines during durability runs on test beds. If you want to actually measure the amount of oil & blowby out of an engine with different breather systems then let me know & I'll give anyone the heads up on what kit to use (can be done on the cheap). Steve
  8. An incorrectly treated shaft??? i.e. the splines not hardened?? I'd have thought that shouldn't happen if it was correctly made.
  9. Try Ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GOODRIDGE-BRAKE-LINE-KIT-TOYOTA-SUPRA-JZA80_W0QQitemZ8072626988QQcategoryZ23013QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Same price!
  10. Its not something silly like the impact sensor ignition cut off is it?
  11. So God exists because bananas fit exactly into the ring (easy now) made by the thumb & forefinger???? I found a pebble on the beach that my finger fitted into... is that proof that God exists too??? There's so much proof all around us.....

  17. Do a manual to auto conversion.... no clutch problems
  18. Nope, any F*rd key will lock any F*rd car, but only the correct one will unlock it What a great design by F*rd!
  19. I haven't bought anything from Martin, but as he is in Bristol, close to my parents, I'll be visiting soon to check out the new store. IMHO from what I've heard & seen on here he is very knowledgeable & a class 1 trader. Give the chap a chance. We're not here to be judge & jury. Everyone makes mistakes. Those that don't make mistakes don't make anything!!
  20. I had something similar on my Westfield V8. The clutch release fork had been incorrectly assembled onto the bearing & it worked its way loose on one side & bent one of the actuation pins. Result was the same as yours! I had to take the engine out to sort it
  21. I can refuse..... I don't have the money
  22. 1) Keep the car & garage 2) Sell the family! Problem solved
  23. Just leave it....... Air conditioning for the summer??

How about using bath water. Yeah, I know its minging... but its hot, there's lots of it, you can use a hose pipe to get it to the car & its used water that would just go down the drain. How eco friendly is that???
  25. I've seen better at crufts!! And who the fcuk took thse pictures.... is he/she blind??
