  1. I don't like them Joe. I prefer having sidelights in the headlights.
  2. Thanks Bud. I'm hoping I can see some decent power with my clutch, if not ill be going for an RPS triple I guess.
  3. Couple of pics from the show on Sunday. Loads more to come, just waiting for a friend of mine with a proper camera to send me them.
  4. I'll tell you next Wednesday when it comes off the dyno lol.
  5. Lets see how the clutch hold out first, I wouldn't want to recommend something that's not fit for purpose, I'd rather be the test subject first and report back my results and you can make your own decisions, if you know what I mean bud.
  6. I've drove a a supra with an RPS 6 puck, and hated it. The pedal stiffness was ridiculous, I've got huge legs and still found it heavy after a while. My biggest gripe with the RPS triple, as all other multi-disc clutches is the noise. They still rattle, maybe less than others but rattle none the less. The clutch I have in feels and drives perfectly. So I'm going to give it a blast and see how much power it will hold. If its not upto what it says on the tin so to speak, then so be it, and I'll have to bite the bullet and get an RPS triple and go back down to have it mapped again. YES, I know I could end up paying twice to have the car mapped if the clutch fails, but I'm a strong believer in trying new things, I have done throughout the build, some have turned out to be an inovation, some I have crashed and burned and it's cost me more to change it all over again. I really want to take a chance on this clutch cos like I said if feels and drives great and most importantly, it's totally silent. I'd have thought 765 ft/lb should be good for 900 whp, seems the Syvecs has the facility to cap the torque, I can't see it being an issue. As I've said in 1 of my previous posts my GT42 setup made 778 whp and 631 ft/lb so the ratios between that and around 900 whp are good. Unless I'm missing something here, but I guess only time will tell.
  7. I had Dane @DC Automotive make me a custom single disc clutch. Pedal isn't too stiff and the clutch is rated to 765 Ft/lb, so should be good for 900hp ish I'd have thought.
  8. Just drill and tap the top of the water neck.
  9. So I called into Gateshead Toyota to pick up 10 Ltrs of red coolant. Some random bloke I've never seen before comes to the dest with it and wants to charge me £50. (Me) - is there any owners club discount on that. (Him)"Owners club, what you talking about, we dont give discount here were a dealer" (Me) I've always had discount here, so do all the other lads (Him) don't know what your talking about son, are you trade? (Me) no. (Him) then why would I give you any discount. (Me) because we've always had discount for years, I've thousands in here I've the last 8 years, last 12 months I must have bought 100ltrs of coolant alone. (Him) look youngun, you gettin ne discount off me. At this point my stomach began to churn and the red mist started to come down, so I thought I best off leave so I threw my money on the counter took my coolant and left. I had a crowd on mechanics and office staff around the car when I went back out to it. Still full of hell, I left the car park setting about 7 or 8 alarms off with the howl of The Kraken. What annoyed me most is that he was a lot younger than me and kept calling me son and youngun. Not very professional if you ask me. WHAT A TOTAL BELL END.
  10. Top one with 2 wires goes to ECU, bottom single wire to dash gauge.
  11. Totally fallen in love with this car again. Everything is coming together perfectly now. It drives exactly how I want it to. Even down to the clutch. I love the feel of it, how it engages, pedal feel, everything. To the point where, if I can get some good power and it holds ok then I'm leaving it in. I finished the staged pump wiring today and made a couple of alterations to the fuel line positions. Going to buy myself some Royal purple oil soon and some more Toyota coolant so I can get everything changed before mapping. I'm at a show on Sunday so I'm hoping I can get a few nice snaps of the car and post them up.
  12. It doesn't mate I couldn't believe it. I've drive it in the rain like 3 times now and it's all still in 1 piece. Unbelievable lol.
  13. Well hurry up Marc or your going to miss the summer at this rate.
  14. I ran that setup too but Ryan set my rev limit to 7300 rpm, with a 76mm turbo. He wouldn't go any higher because of the stock valve springs.
  15. I should be there next week, all being good. Not the week after though cos it's mapping day
  16. Not bothered what it is, I NEED. Some of that in my life.

    Asnu Injectors

I sold them for £600 delivered. Gutted I had to let them go for that buy had no takers at all. Do you carry the 1200cc with 11mm rail fitment in stock Lee.
  18. I see a problem here. Paul has gone and fitted the steering wheel on the wrong side. What a dafty...
  19. Agreed. I'm having some of that in 2 weeks
  20. Nothing that won't clean. The main reason I lost the love was I never drove the car because of the weather. I've been in it loads now and I can't wait to get back in it when I finish work too. Everything is just coming together perfectly now.
  21. Will these come in both 11mm and 14mm rail fitments like the ID injectors Paul?
