  1. Im running on 9.5/19 with 275/30/19 tyres. The car has also been lowered. The only mods I had to do to get the tyres to fit was to polyfan about 10mm off the arch lit couldnt get 40 profiles on as the arch is level with the wheels. your better off going for the 30s and wider is always better i think anyway.
  2. Any of you know of a suitable boost gauge to fit in the round air vent hole next to the clock. At the moment ive got a 60nmm apexi gauge in there with an adaptor ring I machined at work but id like something a little bigger so I can do away with the adaptor ring. I think Greddy do an 80mm one that would fit into the hole with a bit of fabrication to the panel but not 100% certain. Any ideas. Or even better anyone got 1 they want to swap for my 60mm apexi 1 its got a peak boost button.
  3. Does the location of the boost control solnoid effect its performance. I think ive mounted it too close to the turbos on the strut tower under the induction pipe. If it gets to hot does it stop it working correctly.
  4. Yeah ive checked their all correct. Do you think it could be the solnoid that is the problem. Its mounted on the strut mount under the induction pipe quite close to the turbos. Do you think the heat could be effecting the solnoid from working.
  5. Does the actuator have 2 or 3 hoses.
  6. Fogive my ignorance. Ive only had my supra about a year and have just started with power upgrades. So if both turbos run off the same acturator am I still right to still block off the centre pipe on it with my boost controller solnoid vbetween the top actuator pipe and conpressor housing.
  7. Does it matter which turbo its connected to. My idea was so I could raise and lower the pressure on both turbos. Well lower mainly. Have you ever took your car anywhere for work done and you just know they have been out in it thrashing it about thought if I could turn the boost right down sort of a valet mode if you know what I mean.
  8. The COM on the solnoid goes to the acturator (top pipe) as ive blocked the bottom pipe off NO on the solnoid goes to the compressor. its plummed to the front turbo does this all sound right to you.
  9. yep its on the front turbo between the acturator and the compressor housing the other outlet on the acturator ive blocked off.
  10. I have an electronic boost controller fitted but it is only funning the front turbo is it possable to get a second boost control valve and to run the second turbo and piggy back it the the 2 wires on the original valve so I can control the boost pressure on both turbos.
  11. I have an E01 boost controller to my j-spec TT Ive tried to raise the boost from stock to 1.1 bar but it aint moving and wont go past 0.8 bar. A couple of times ive tried using the overtake boost which is set at 90% ubt I can only get 1 bar every now and then sometimes it wont go over stock. The car has the rear cat removed (I think) but the front 1 is still in place. Will this be restricting my boost and do I need a front de cat and a resistor ring.
  12. Thanks for that simon youve been a great help. I might have to pester you for some settings for harness when I get it plumbed in but 1 step at a time I think. Tghanks again mate.
  13. I dont have a fcd so the MAP would be a good idea I think. Would this be analog or pulse. What would I connect the output to to use this as a FCD and do oyu know the position on the ECU for the intake temp and speedo. Cheers for the help. Im quite new at all of this electronics stuff.
  14. Anyone out there tell me what will be the best signals to connect to this harness. At present ive got:- E01 has a rpm signal direct from the unit. (pulse input) External harnesss:- Analog input 1 - Throttle position sensor analog input 2 - 12v ignition (for volt reading), or MAP sensor not sure which would be best. This is where im stuck. Ive got 2 pulse inputs and a pulse output . can any of you point me in the right directing. Cheers Hodge
  15. Hi mate Ive just began to fit an e01 and have just took the 12v ignition from me turbo timer wiring harness. Im in the process of working out which pipe to put the boost control valve onto I have a j spec 1994 tt auto. As there seemes to be what lookes like 4 acturators in stumped. Also Ive got the external wiring harness but am unsure hwat to connect the anolog and pulse wires to. Could you please advise id really apreciate it.
