  1. Spent some time on the car lady night and she's ready for MOT now. I just need to raise the suspension a little and it's game on. Guess it's going to get its 1st road test on the way to the MOT station. Once I get the suspension lifted ill bet it in. Getting excited now.
  2. The 2 vac lines are an idle stabilizer. It's stops your revs dropping when you turn the wheel. 1 pipe goes to a positive vacuum on the intake and the other onto a negitave vacuum on the TB
  3. He dialed into mine and checked everything out and was happy so mine is ready for run in as I havnt changed the injectors from my last setup yet. Not tired at all. I'm just getting started.
  4. Thanks guys. Well I was all intending going out and doing a little work on her today, but unfortunately I've just crawled out of bed after a very good night out in Newcastle. After 2 bottles of champagne and stupid amounts of cocktails, I was pretty much Ill this morning so the garage door is staying shut.
  5. I'll tidied up all the wiring now, replaced the damaged TPS wire and now everything is tucked away neatly under the ECU cover. I'm off out for a drink with the lads tonight so tomorrow afternoon I've got another couple of very quick jobs to do and then she's almost ready for the road.
  6. I'm just using my old map to run it in. The AFRs were perfect on fire up and when it was running. I'll keep it to below 4K and all should be good.
  7. Very good lol Thanks Rob. I'm still going to pull the whole wire out the loom and replace it, so were not out of the woods yet lol.
  8. Believe it or not I just stumbled across it. I plugged the laptop in and noticed the TPS1 signal on Scal was at 90% which is 90% throttle open. No matter if I pushed the pedal, the position didn't change. So another quick email to Ryan and he explained that if the Syvecs thinks the throttle is at 90% it won't put any fuel it because it has a built in anti-flood strategy. I dug the wire out, a quick temporary fix and she fired straight up.
  9. It's alive!!!! Bloody dodge TPS signal wire of all things. Even though Ryan is in Moscow he's been firing me emails through most of the day. Syvecs customer service freakin ROCKS!!!!!
  10. Yeah thanks bud. I'm going to have a look at it tomorrow so fingers crossed I get it nailed with little trouble. I'll update tomorrow if I'm not in the huff that I couldn't get it going haha.
  11. Tomorrow I'm proper excited. 7pm Taybarns, don't be late cos I've only got 2hrs to scran food before the film starts

  13. Well lets just agree we're not sexually compatable then.
  14. I'd like to claim:- UBBER spunktastic BOOOOOOM
  15. There's nothing you can do, just tuck it behind the engine bud. As long as each end is secured correctly then it will work fine.
  16. I hate to shatter your wet dreams James but my "wang" ain't all that big. On the upside I am a total love athlete and can shag for hours, but on the downside for you, I'm straight. I'm really sorry
  17. That's perfect, cheers bud.
  18. Hi guys Can anyone confirm the thread side on a stock fuel filter. Now I know the front is m12x1.25mm but I need to know the size of the rear thread that the hard line screws into. I'm sure it's a tapered thread possibly 3/8 NPT but I need someone to confirm. Cheers John
  19. Ok guys and girls it's settled then, 7pm Taybarns. I've got some friends going to see the film at the same time. I'm going to invite them for food too if you all don't mind.
  20. Go see him ASAP Simon. Your paying him a lot of no ey to do this job, don't settle for second best.
  21. You can either do this or lift the drivers carpet, unplug the sensor from the loom and just stick a bung in the hole. I'm not a fan of cable tieing sensors up, personally I'd remove it and bung the hole correctly.
  22. I'd break the turbo down. I had to build both mine up in section to fit them. Just makes life so much easier. Just be careful with the blades.
